We decided to stay here because of few reasons. 1. Location. Quiet and not far from jatiluwih. 2. We can order lunch and dinner. We liked to order balinese vegetarian local food, such as pakis (fern), nangka (jackfruit), anything that eat by locals or grow in this area 3. The price is reasonable with the room. Clean, and we can ask help to deliver our clothes to laundry. 4. The internet connection is good in one place, u just need to ask where. Its strong for online meeting with "teams". 5. If you like to get out from crowdness, this is one of the place u can come for a rest. 6. About insects, just bring mosquito repellent where ever u go in indonesia. I choose this place bcause the main building all is made by concrete instead of wood so very less insects. 7. For family, they have 3 rooms. And all are clean.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Kubu homestay! This is the best place if you are looking for somewhere peaceful and away from the Bali buzz. Putu was kind enough to show us around his rice field. And massive thanks to Agus, the best driver we’ve had in Bali, not only he’s passionate about his hometown and the people who live there, he’s also so humble and knowledgeable to share everything about Bali with us. We will definitely be back and stay longer with this lovely place again!

Absolutely in love with the place. We stayed one night and enjoyed a comfy beautiful room, with a terrace just in front of a rice field owned by an amazing and very kind couple. In the morning we have watched the sun coming up over the terraces and were taken for a walk by the host through his rice terraces. The views were simply stunning 🤩 we were also taught to spot lemongrass, red ginger, cloves, Kurkuma and much more growing naturally. I am so happy we found this gem. Definitely one of my most beautiful memories of Bali.

The best stay I had during my recent visit to Bali. Excellent hospitality by the Homestay manager, Putu, his wife, Nengah and the driver, Agus. We arrived late at 8pm in heavy rain, Putu waited for us and ushered us to the little bungalow with umbrella. He made sure everything was ok. Nengah prepared delicious chicken soup for dinner. Waking up in the morning with a great view of green paddy terrace and Batukaru mount on the background. It was an amazing experience having breakfast on the terrace with such view. Agus, a humble friendly guy, took us to places we intended to go around Bali. My friend and I are thankful to have known these good-hearted people. We will definitely come back. Thank you Agus, Putu, and Nengah😊

I really enjoyed staying here: no people around but only wild nature. Very quiet place. Clean and comfortable room. Hosts are very kind and home-food is very good. One day hosts delivered us 4 big packages of different fruits (this is not expensive). We also could use their laundry service. They can even help you to rent a bike, car and order the taxi. I will recommend everyone to stay here for more than 1-2 days.

Absolutely awesome spot! So grateful to find this gem! Gede and his family are so sweet, the rooms are beautiful & clean & comfy. He has so much insight into hidden gems in the area, and just so helpful in every regard. He took me and my dog on a motorbike tour of the area, and also a morning walk through his rice fields which was gorgeous. You can see every mountain peak in bali from his house, from Agung to Batukaru, as well as a view into all of south bali from keramas to canggu! Amazing spot, highly recommend!

Excellent place to stay and reconnect with the nature. The place is owned by a local couple. They show you around and cook a nice dinner and breakfast for you. A hike through the jungle, driving you to the Jatiluwih rice terraces and waterfalls are the experiences that they can provide. Highly recommend.

One of the best accommodations of Bali! Relaxing atmosphere in the nature and friendly and calm people. They have a big variety of fruits and food which is delicious and affordable/cheap. The rooms are quiet and very clean. To visit close by temple, waterfalls and rice fields I would advise a scooter😉

It was a highlight of our trip to stay at Kubu D’Ume. I was invited to work in the field and I managed to plant my own rice! What an experience. Make sure you also do the jungle trip to temple!

We had such a great time! The location is amazing. You wake up in the middle of the rice fields. The food is great and the staff is super super kind and helpful. We booked a tour to visit the Jatiluwih Rice fields and they personally guided us. We had a really good trip, learned a lot about the area and the rice production. KUBU D'UME is the place to go if you stay the Jatiluwih Rice fields.

This place has just been wonderful - absolutely peaceful setting, lovely hosts, fresh homegrown and home cooked food. You'll wake up overlooking the family's ricefields. The Tour that Put have us over the lands was very nice, don't miss it. And you need to try the chicken with balinese sauce - it is delicious! We also rented their scooter and borrowed their yoga mats. If you like views and green and remote places I can totally recommend staying with Puri and his family!

Amazing place! we enjoyed a relaxing stay here. The views are amazing and the owners Putu and Nana can’t be more attentive and nice. Putu even showed us the rice fields and explained many things about plants growing nearby. The room was amazing, really clean and quiet and we could enjoy their homemade food every evening. They even arranged for us motorbike rental and taxi service to Sanur.

Absolutely fantastic. Kind of hurts to promote this place, because its nice to have it for yourself. This Paradise in the ricefields will teleport you back to bali 15 years ago. Putu and his wife nengah took good care of us, providing breakfast & coffee and showing us the area. The rooms were very clean and state of the art with hot water and a really couy jersey style bed. Everyone who wants to spend some time away from the crazy world and lockdowns can do this here.

Extremely clean little cute hostel. The family has 3 rooms in the middle of the rice field. With hot shower and fan and wifi but we didn't use the fan because it's chill at night, we even enjoyed the night watching fireflies during our stay here (the more the air drop the more fireflies how awesome is that). The wifi signal is really bad you need to bring your Telkomsel just for WhatsApp or facebook but my bf said this is good because not only we are detoxing the pollution inside our body we can also do phone detox. Oh, do ask the lady to bring you grilled/fried chicked for lunch and dinner it is amazing chicken!!! And the sambal muaaaaach, lezat.

Stay here for a weekend, this place is a hidden gem close to Jatiluwih, the vibe still pure, clean room, stunning rice field view, and close to some secret attractions that normally only visited by local. The people are very kind, we can ask them to prepare anything for dinner. The rate consider super cheap (bed + breakfast + views). Highly recommended for escaping the crowd. Minus very bad internet connection in that area, but the homestay provide wifi.
