Madaen Shuaib, or Muhair Shuaib or Madin is an ancient city that includes ancient houses and temples carved in rocks and mountains located in the region of Hijaz in the west of the Arabian Peninsula, and currently in a city called Al Bida in the region of Tabuk, [1] which is similar to the effects of the city of Hajar (Madaen Saleh). Some archaeologists date back to the second millennium BC, and its inhabitants were from the Median tribe. [2] Median mentioned several times in the biblical texts and mentioned in the Holy Qur’an that the Prophet Moses sought refuge with them and their son-in-law and that the cities of Median are close to the dwellings of Thamud in the stone and that God sent among the people of the Median a prophet among them a Shoaib in order to urge them to honor trading, so they refused to hear his call to believe in God And they leave sins.

Good presentation, the small museum has a decent amount of information. The site itself is great and won't take long to visit.

Here js where you can visit the small houses of Magna’er Shuaib. When we went they were working on the place building stairs and stuff. It’s very nice and it’s like an small petra or madain saleh, as it’s the same style! You can park in the visitor center and walk up, like 5min.

Good to visit if you are close in the area or passing by on the road, but it doesn’t worth travelling to ... nothing much lift of it and probably won’t be there for long.

Magha’er Shuai(A.I.). Opening Time Nowadays :- 09:00 A.M. and the well is approx 3 km away from this site in opposite direction. Magha’er Shuaib(A.I.)” as per the research work and sources was called “Madyan” in the past and in the Quran, while it is known in the present time as Al-Bida'a governorate. These researches confirm “Magha’er Shuaib(A.I.)” is where Prophet Moses A.I. (PBUH) had lived prior to his prophethood as per the popular story in the Quran.

So disappointed. We included this important site on our itinerary, traveling from the United States and unfortunately did not get to visit. We arrived within the "posted" hours but were told they were closed. The person operating the site was there and let in a group as we arrived but did not let us enter. He stayed there as we took pictures from the fence. It is such an important site and I hope they will keep their hours and encourage visitors in the future.

Visiting the tombs requires a short walk from the parking, up a tiled path with steps not accessible for wheelchairs. Visitor center was closed during our visit, only very limited information sign posted outside. While nice enough, wouldn't go to Bada especially to visit this place. Very suitable as a quick stop along the way however.
