The Tulip Sharma embodies the meaning of catastrophic disaster: daily cleaning is mediocre to say the least, drama became the new norm with the existing staff, they leave the balcony doors open after they exit the room and last... was issuing a copy of my room key to another guest who was able to gain access while I was there. They need to hire more competent staff or extensively train the existing ones.

The best resort in this area for now and we're waiting for Neom , I really enjoyed staying here for a weekend, they have clean rooms (Caves) with lovely sea view and a good restaurant which has open buffet ( the food quality was good and the food options are varied) and also there are a wonderful coffee shop where you can enjoy the sunset from the second floor 👍🏼 I recommend this resort.

This place only survives on the NEOM development. Which is probably why it exists at all. They booked me into a room already occupied at 11pm. Then told me they were full. Reception staff- absolute incompetents. Beach is rubble and stone with sewage floating in it.

Very very dissapointed and I agree with other reviews. It's NEOM that keeps this complex operational. If it wasn't for NEOM and the level of service i have seen was offered, it would not be here now. £500 per night for half board ( no choice it must be half board)! The hotel is,supposed to be a beach resort and a positive is the lovely views. I am three nights into a,32 night stay. My room is a 'premium' room in what is described as a Cave Room. It is 5 x steps x 5 steps. The hotel guidebook states they infer a complimentary show shine service and even leave a basket to put ones shies in, but no they don't! I asked for a OJ at breakfast, if I pay for it as its not included in the buffet! I asked for a cappuccino but alas no. OK so I will make a coffee in my room but three days on I am still trying to get some creamer or milk (no shop on the 'complex' or in the region). I see the hotel are ripping the guts out of companies financially, making reservations here so expensive, their strategy is clearly take as much money as they can before the hotel ultimately will be closed down when stronger and more modern hotels open.

Well it’s one of the only hotel in this area because Neom city doesn’t exist yet but it’s really nice. It’s comfortable, the service is perfect. If you don’t Anna walk to the reception or the restaurant you can just call the room service and they’ll come pick you up. It’s a small village with its private beach. The buffet is amazing. There are a lot of choices and it’s fresh. I really enjoyed my stay here.

The best hotel so far that I have visited. They have nice swimming pool and beach. Restaurant was great. The staffs were friendly. Stayed for how many hours only, however I really enjoyed my stay here. Visited in the year of September 2019. Highly recommended to visit this place.

Amazing with fantastic view

While working at NEOM, we visited Royal Tulip with family. Such a great place to visit. Parking spaces are enough. Slides for children, coffee shop, restaurant and good hotel staff ...all in one package. The striking sunset view was amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend 😊.

This resort is unique in the area as it is surrounded by desert. It features 2 restaurants, Al Dar which offers daily buffet, indoor and outdoor seating. And another one right on the beach with an international menu and beverage variety, and nice vibes overall.

The place needs lots of greenery. It's too gloomy, very few palm trees. The more trees and colorful flowers the better it would be. In general its fine

The place is lovely! The nature and the view 🤍 The food at the Restuarant does not have a sustainable standard, depends on your luck. The sunset Restuarant by the beach has very slow service, and the quality of food is not that good. The casual seating area by the beach is so cheaply made, very dark at night, and you can’t really call the waiter (they won’t see you), I suggest to upgrade this area, you can uplift it BIG TIME.

It’s a wonderful and relaxing experience , they have good restaurant serving good food, a accommodating staff , clean and tidy .

Definitely this place requires a major upgrade specially when it comes to housekeeping staff.. the rooms are extremely dirty and the mattresses and the bed sheet looks and feels filthy. In short if you have the option please avoid it otherwise you’ll be disappointed big time ..

Have not stayed at this property, so this review is really for the hidden spa inside the resort. The place is great and Cherry of both oversees the spa and is the nail technician is so talented and professional. Prefer going out of my way to go at her than to use the salons inside the NEOM Community spaces because Cherry is so proficient. Also if you time it well you can also catch the lovely sunsets they get from their pool views.

The best Hotel and meeting Facilities in the area

I spent my weekend day at Royal Tulip Sharma, it was above expectations from the cleaning, beauty, and gd service side. The resort team was very helpful and kind. Food also is delicious, and prices compared to the level of service and place are reasonable. Duffintly it would be my every time choose to spend a great time in front of the sea. For was excellent. Parts of the hotel are still under construction. Pool is very nice. Completely booked out indefinitely by NEOM.

Amazing hotel, amazing food and great customer service. Customer Service is not 100% Saudi Arabian! Buffet was the highlight of my stay. The sea was beautiful and inviting but as there were to much building going on and I was working, I could not enjoy it more.
