We had a lot of fun here. There's so much to see and learn about. My 6 and 9 year old even enjoyed it. The property is so beautiful and we intend on coming back to do the special tour soon! There are so many unique vehicles. The building with the cars through the years was amazing.

This place was amazing. We only did the main building. We now wished we did all three. The first building you walk around your self then the last two the guys tell you about the cars inside those buildings. The main building took me and my husband about an hour to walk and enjoy it all. We really loved all the antiques, signs, boat motors and all the cars. Great history and well worth the money. Was 15 to enter but my husband military so we got our tickets 12 each. Very friendly people. Take your time and enjoy. Beautiful landscape to walk around.

Great place to bring the kids and husband. Not so crowded and fancy as the different location, but you will have the same quality of enjoyment here for sure. Don't forget to walk outside, to check some extra cars at the territory.

The green building (Union Station) is absolutely worth the add-on price! Beautiful vehicles in chronological order so you can see the evolution of the automobile right before your eyes. You can really get up close to them and peak inside at the details. The main building was good too, as was the Museum in Tacoma, but the green building showroom is really where the most interesting stuff is at.

The most wonderful collection of cars trucks motorcycles and way more with paraphernalia associated with each time era. The docents take you on a tour if you like and are wonderfully knowledgeable. A wonderful way to spend an afternoon and get exercise walking around. The grounds are really pretty and the price just can't be beat! Especially if you get the Groupon.

So many vehicles, and so much to see. New, old, and everything in-between... From old to new, you'll see vehicles of all kinds, as well as Americana everywhere you look. There are several options such as self-guided tours of the main building, with a self-guided option for one of the other buildings as a very nominal cost, or full guided tours, depending on your interests.

What an awesome place to enjoy a large auto museum. I visited the original, didnt know there were 2 in town...so followed Goggle Maps to this one and was very glad i did. Built out of a very old Military school which gives it that nostalgia feel and it shows! Paid for the tour of the other two very large car holding areas and had a personal tour by 'Tom' who was fantastic!! He told me about many of the cars there, like special features, where they cam from, or what movie etc they were from....so cool. Took many photos and videos. Well worth the cost of admissions. I will come back, and slide over to the other LeMay Auto Museum in town... Awesome!!

Bought tickets on Groupon so entrance fee was $16 for 2adults and 2 kids. 5 and under is free. This is a separate location for the Lemay Collection. The other is near the Tacoma dome. This location was not crowded at all. Beautiful cars. They have a guided tour available and more areas to browse through for an additional cost. My family easily spent 2 hrs just enjoying and appreciating another car enthusiast.

You may've heard of America's Car Museum in Tacoma. Forget about it. THIS is THE BEST car museum you WILL EVER find. Even those not interested in cars will surely see something that will catch their eye! Every car in this collection is stunning and nearly flawless, compared to the chipped up specimens in the Tacoma museum. They are accompanied by period antiques and collectibles. This is a REAL museum. Worth the money. Take the full tour. There are over 400 cars in this collection. And every one is BEAUTIFUL.

It's so nice to see all those beautiful cars in one place. Need to take my whole family next time. The only thing that I would suggest is to edit that it's free on the 3rd Thursday, to free the 3rd thursday after 3pm. We went early thursday morning and found it was not free.

It is an absolute MUST-SEE, and I am in awe! What I thought would be "just a car museum visit" turned out to be a fascinating experience that I would recommend to everyone! History is lived right in front of your eyes. The exhibitions at the location we went to (not by Tacoma Dome) are just gorgeous!

I loved this tour. Jeff, my tour guide, was very knowledgeable and patient. The tour was almost customized just for me. This tour is nice for families or just anyone in and around the Tacoma area.

There's no words to express how much stuff there is to look at, you would have to camp there for a week it was so awesome. 🤔 Edit: one thing tho , when you go to buy goodies like t-shirts and zip-up sweatshirt hoodie's , don't buy the zip up sweatshirt hoodies, 🥺 I purchased a $35 zip-up sweatshirt hoodie, it was a size large, when I tried it on this morning, the arms were so tight a fourteen-year-old wouldn't be able to wear it , no I did not wash it, the rest of it fit fine just just not the arms , lol, I should have known better and tried it on first , but the arms were definitely a lemon, the arm length was really long tho , LMFAO 😆 , lesson learned 🤣 , so just stick with buying a hat , or a mug type souvenirs . Usually when it comes to clothing type stuff, I know better, I must have been in a daze 😆

Admir this collection that LeMay family set up, two stations and the main charges 15 and the other 5 which I recommend you go both! Huge amount of cars here and all been maintained in very good condition. Should be same as the one in Tacoma DT or even better, if you are crazy about vintage cars here is the one you could spend a whole afternoon.

This is our 2nd time came here. Our son wants to come see all the cars for his 6th birthday today. It was a huge disappointment that most exhibits were closed due to gun and knife events. The area that was closed was the most exciting part. And the guide leader just drop us to the green building and we had to go around by ourself with no tour guide to explain everything. After that, we had to walk back to main building in the rain. We also can't see the 3rd building next to the green building. The other tour guide for the other group told me if your tour guide not there you can't enter and you have to pay extra. Customer service today its very bad. The only nice person was the tall guy who checked us in. He told me he just a volunteer here. We drove 2 hours to come see this and most of the area was closed. I did called midweek asking about hours and the lady who answered the phone did not even give us info that they will close most of the exhibits. Its very disappointed.

I absolutely love this place! First time taking my teenage daughter to the car museum, and she wants to go back when the weather is warmer to see everything outside. Staff is friendly and parking was easy.

Love this place. I have a fondness for this museum. I went to school at Merrymount a long time ago.

This is an absolutely gonzo car collection and a delight. There is a natural comparison to the other car museum in Tacoma which is a bit more polished, while the LeMay Collections at Marymount is a bit more punk rock. The presentation is also a hoot, being in the middle of a high-school gym with cars up in the bleachers is a wild presentation choice. They have an optional extra building that has a chronological sequence of cars going from the early 1900s to the 2010s. My son, my mom, and I all loved it!

We felt like we were scammed. Purchased tickets from Groupon for 6 of us and made the trek down to Tacoma. However, It turns out there are two Lemay car museums and we accidentally purchased tickets for the one in Spanaway. According to the girl at the counter in Tacoma "it's great they have 500 cars on display." So, based off of what she said we decided to drive down instead of just purchasing new tickets in Tacoma. Somehow between Tacoma and Spanaway which is a 20ish minute drive 500 cars turned into about 50. There is a room with VW's, maybe 15-20. There's a room with some trucks again 15-20 and then a large room with 3-4 vehicles in it. We were told there was a private event taking place and some cars were loaned out, so we were limited to only two or three rooms and there seem to be absolutely nothing of interest there. We were also told there was a green barn that cost extra when we asked what was in it the girl behind the counter said "just more cars" so we did not pay extra to visit that barn which now sounds like a mistake. There wasn't a single vehicle anybody in our group was interested in. Total bust and waste of a 4hr round-trip drive. We didnt have time to drive back to Tacoma to purchase tickets for the museum there as they stop selling tickets at 3:30 and it was almost 4. I'm not sure how this place gets so many good reviews as our experience was pretty poor including the staff. If either of the two people in Tacoma we talked would have been honest with us we would have gladly purchased new tickets to tour the museum in Tacoma. We came down for a birthday and it was an absolute waste of a day.

More then just automobiles. Lots of vintage and historical transportation items, on a historical property. Plenty to see for many diverse intrests.

Our visit was one of the best experiences I have ever had in a museum. Our guide, Larry, was knowledgeable, friendly, and went the extra mile. We were also lucky enough to meet Bob and Kai in the Model T shop. Between the two of them, there was a wealth of knowledge that they were happy to share. We were even fortunate enough to get to your the grounds in a Model T with Bob. This museum is a treasure, Ann’s we cannot wait to visit again.

Relaxed and enjoyable. A vast majority of the vehicles are in fully restored condition. A few appear to have been driven into the place just 10 minutes ago (junk on the seats, dirty carpets, etc). Far too many vehicles are unable to be viewed up close; they are on overhead platforms. Another big negative: you aren't permitted to go between the vehicles. Highly dissatisfied with not being able to see 100% of the vehicles.

Not only a beautiful location and very cool collection of cars, but they also host Seattle Cars & Coffee. A wide range of vehicles from imports to exotics and everything in-between. Lots of very friendly people here. Those events also have food and beverages available, including Revup Energy drinks. Many car clubs come here as well, including Ragnarok's Garage and Avants.
