For a board gamer who loves good food and drinks this place was a little bit of heaven on earth. You can borrow for free many different types of board games. Also their sourdough grilled cheese sandwich was simply wonderful. You would be surprised how many people screw up a basic grilled cheese. Also full bar to compliment your evening board games. I had to add staff was legit, SUPER helpful, available, and friendly

Mox was so fun! Everyone was so friendly, and the selection of games was mind blowing. I had the brisket fried rice and it was really yummy, as was my cappuccino. We were pretty disappointed by the ginger noodles, so definitely would not recommend those. Treat yourself to an affogato! We brought our three kids here, and we had a blast playing games while we ate. They were super helpful suggesting games for us to check out. Can't wait to come back.

Excellent fries and bean burger! Fries were breaded and deep fried. Bean burger was also potentially deep fried, because it had a perfect crunchy outer layer. Fantastic! There was only one or two IPAs on tap, but it looks like they had a big bar with lots of liquor as well. As far as the concept of this restaurant goes, I was thoroughly impressed. I was expecting more of a dirty cafe style, but instead, I got a nice restaurant with a game library on the other half of the building. The tables were very long and can easily seat eight people playing games. One could borrow a game from the game library, and enjoy it with food, beverages, and friends.

Overall a great place - aside from the shopping part this was the first time I've eaten at Mox and it was beyond expectations. The food was great and the selection of drinks was awesome. It's elevated above what you'd normally expect for Pub food, so I highly recommend going. Steph at the bar was an amazing host for the evening. Her suggestions for drinks in addition to getting ice cream on the seasonal cobbler were all fantastic and her conversation throughout the night was engaging and a treat! Will 100% be back whenever I'm in town!

I would call Mox a really fun place to hang around with friends and family. If you love board games it's an absolute heaven for you. The best part is you can rent a game free of charge and play. There's also a restaurant attached and if you prefer to eat and play you can do that. And yes you can take your games to the restaurant table altogether and play there.

The staff are passionate about sharing their knowledge of games that any size group can enjoy. The atmosphere has you wanting to stay for the entire day playing games and hanging out with friends or family. The best part about this place is that there is an interest for any game fanatic or hobby enthusiast. I will always visit here whenever I am in Bellevue and I recommend Mox to everyone I meet.

Fun place to spend the day with friends. Huge collection of board games to chose from and play for free. There is a small restaurant inside where you can order food and drinks from and you can eat and play on the tables. What more do you need😅 The only con here is the parking. There is very limited space and gets a bit tricky to find a spot on weekends.

Great place if you love games! Beautiful art deco style restaurant, with a fun hidden speakeasy in the hallway 😊 I pretty much play family friendly board games on holidays, so I am not exactly the ideal person this place is marketed for, but I love this idea of having a quality restaurant and bar attached to a shop where gamers can gather and play. I had a couple of great cocktails with friends over a co-op card game. We tried playing a second game one of the employees recommended with little success, which could have been my fault for choosing it. I don't have the gaming vocab to describe everything they have here, but it seems they have something for everyone. Had a great time even as someone who does not consider themselves a gamer.

Tasty food and drinks, and a fantastic place to spend several hours playing fun board games! I love being able to borrow games before you buy. That way I really know I like it before I commit to the price! The staff is very knowledgeable about the games and they give great recommendations.

A great place to shop for and/or play board games, with a wide selection. But despite having almost 100 car parking spots, there's not a single bike rack to be found. It's ridiculous to not have a bike rack in a location where there's so much space to install one (e.g. just get rid of one of the many car parking spots). The Ballard location is in a much denser area but even it has a couple bike racks in front. At least this location will be a short walk from Bel-Red Station when it opens next year; right now unless you live on the B line it takes a long time to get here without biking.

Love this place. The games are fun and the drinks are delicious. I've been going here for years and I will say the food choices and quality have declined, though.

I love it here, but the parking can be rough sometimes. Good drink and food selection, tons of board games to check out for free.

The food at Mox is reasonably good for a boardgame place. There is often event here so parking and seating is limited. You can always sit in the restaurant and play though.

This place is amazing! The bar behind a bookshelf swinging door, the fresh food, the large gaming area and the large shopping area are all fantastic. I could have spent all day exploring the place, and was bummed I was driving as the alcohol looked and sounded amazing.

This is a go to place for board games, I love if sometimes you get lucky and talk to them, they can seat you on the patio part of their restaurant, one of their male staff member with glasses was so nice that he was able to accommodate 10 of us at their outside patio with heat lamps. I did not have to pay for the reservation fee! To reserve that I think it will cost you like $70 ish. They have a huge collections of games for you to buy and try, that is where my wife and I tried splendor and we fell in love with it, I had my birthday party there once and we didn't know we are not suppose to bring external cake but they were able to accommodate us that one time as well. Thank you Mox!

Super fun place! Not only do they have games available for purchase, but there is also a huge selection of games you can play while eating and drinking. It's nice to be able to try a game before you buy it. Highly recommend checking out one of their locations!

Excellent drinks, board game shop, and staff but with sub-par food. The chicken sandwich had the absolutely thinnest piece of chicken I have ever been served. I would have preferred the quality of a fast food fried chicken patty and that’s not even taking cost in to consideration. The garlic cheese fries checked a box but were disappointing. I will happily go back, but I’ll show up fed next time.

Came here as a part of a birthday gift before heading on a road trip. Absolutely a blast and I can’t wait to go back! I was unaware how safe and fun it was to get back into gaming as an adult who’s been away from it and I have to tell you this place is THE place. I hear nothing but good and happy memories that come out of here. Happy to have it apart of my life now! Food, games, and atmosphere is all amazing and I’ll be sharing with anyone who hasn’t been here!

Beautiful venue! Tons of games, great food! Highly recommend. We got to play Lords of Waterdeep and Hanabi. The staff were very friendly and helpful too! Shout out to Cody in the gaming area, and Bailey our server for the evening! Both were knowledgeable and helpful!

When I'm traveling, I like to visit board game shops. Mox boarding house was along the way home and only 10 minutes off track. They have a large selection of board games and a restaurant attached to it. You can check out games to play while you order food and eat. We enjoyed the grilled cheese with blue cheese and onions with tomato soup. It was great, however, I didn't realize how much blue cheese can overpower other food. I love blue cheese so it didn't bother me, but I'd personally order without blue cheese next time to taste the flavor of the soup more. I found a few games I haven't seen in Montana and picked them up. Great location and all employees we met were informative and attentive. 5/5, will bang again if I'm in the area again. P.S. find the hidden down if you swing by.

This place is amazing. You can eat while you play a good game. They have a good variety of board games and you can try it with your friends before buy it. The staff knows a lot about games and they can help you out to pick new options.

If you are into board games this is the place for you. There is a huge selection of board games and thats given but the set-up is worth a visit by itself. Beautiful decor, unique rooms that can be rented for a group to enjoy some board game time. Food and drink selection is unique and top notch quality. Dont forget to sample some unique drinks and ask for the house sauce with the fries.
