Rush is a great local bar in Gangneung. The atmosphere is fun and the bar staff are incredibly friendly and speak perfect English. They have a wide selection of beers, cocktails and spirits which they get to you quickly. There are also some picky food options, all of which are good, too (we always get the fries). I recommend going when they have a live performer announced; their selection of performers has always been good and has made the night more fun! Rush overall is a friendly bar with a personal touch. You can even write your name on the wall if you want, and take a photo with their polaroid camera! It all adds to the experience.
