Great little park to cycle around in Daejeon with connections to the cycling route down by the river. There's a cheap bicycle rental shop available by the theater, prices of 5,000won for half an hour, and 8,000won for an hour ride on a good-quality mountain bike (front suspension). Also offers children's bikes, 2-people tandem bikes, and 4-people family bikes.

took a day long trip to Daejeon from Seoul on KTX. It was a short one hour trip. We decided to check this place out as it was one of the higher listed items on a to-do list. We enjoyed renting and biking around the plaza. We also visited the insect museum near by. It was very enjoyable for a family of four with two kids. I recommend this place.

I'm sure I've rated this under some other name before. It's a nice place to go and hang out. There is grass for picnics, but the areas can get crowded. There is a playground for kids. There is the arboretum for walking and exploring. There is the occasional event. And of course the bike circle and bike rentals. I know why it was done, but the posted speed limit of 10 kph is just too slow. They are bikes, after all. Nice place to visit for the immediate facilities or nearby places. It can definitely get crowded on the weekend and nice days, though.

I like this place a lot. It is nice to have a picnic!! If you have kids, may bring inline skate or bike for them to ride. Tge rentals available there.

It's lake side & really natural place. Around that place u can see lake,big building,park, beautiful bridge,big flyover. I like that place.

Great place!! In winter, there are skating and sledding rinks. You can take a bike during this spring season and stroll around the nearby Hanbat gardens and take in a view of Daejeon's arch bridge and Hanbit tower.

It was very nice scene to see from up.

Love the area for a walk or to take a rest under the trees. There are museums and cultural activities around too.
