Excellent. Greeted by welcoming staff who were helpful and friendly throughout. We had poppadoms and onion bhajis to start. For main I had the Gurkha Special Curry (Chicken) and opted for hot (when given the choice between medium and hot). Shared Garlic & Chilli Rice (not on the menu, but cooked upon request) and a Keema naan. For the table we had Bombay aloo and Paneer tikka masala. All of the dishes where excellent and full of flavour (the tikka masala sauce especially had a unique flavour). The chicken was cooked perfectly, tender and falling apart. Bhajis where crispy and light. Paneer was the best I've tried, with a light and fluffy texture (and not rubbery). Overall a fantastic experience, thank you!

What a fantastic place to eat . Used to be the crown pub , but now Gurkha hill. The food here gets better every time I’ve eaten here . If you like Indian cuisine then this is another level, flavour of every dish make your taste buds glows . Eating here , you wont be disappointed. Enjoy

Food was fantastic! One of the Loveliest Chicken Kormas I've ever tasted 🥘 with Chips 🍟and Mushroom Fried Rice 🍚 plus a Naan 🫓 Food was really hot but Rice portions were tiny. Sooo good tho ❤️ The Girls serving were great but this is not an attractive venue - Cud very much do with a Makeover 🤔 Menu tho small was varied. Fancy trying the Crispy Chilli Chicken and Egg Fried Rice if there again 👍🏻

Delicious food, a twist on standard curry dishes by applying the Nepalese rich, and it works really well. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable, food was delivered quickly and drinks were easily kept on top of. Loses a point for atmosphere, but it is an ex-pub turned into a restaurant and the decor, lighting and furniture will, I'm sure, change to start reflecting the new use rather than echoing the old, but for now it feels very pop-up. But don't let that put you off - the food is worth the visit and with free parking behind the building, it's very accessible.

Visited early Saturday evening, and it was already busy. It has an interesting menu with Nepalese dishes and more traditional ones. The staff were pleasant and helpful in making our choices and even changed an ingredient to suit us. The food was delicious, especially the nan bread, best we've had. Recommended.
