I visited Nando's Cardiff - Old Brewery Quarter during the weekend. Non-veg available here is Halaal. Top tip: If you visit Nando's frequently, ensure you have Nando's loyalty card. You can earn rewards very fast. We ordered Half chicken and 5 wings & Sides. Both of them were delicious. They have dine-in and takeaway options as well. They have a QR Scan Code-based ordering system. Just scan the code and order it with a Table number. They will serve it on the table. The prices are reasonable. You can visit here with family, friends, and kids as well.

lovely staff service. Food timing was quick and efficient. food was amazing as always and the garlic bread was cooked perfectly only reason for the 4* is because the toliets were a bit of a mess.

Overall a very good meal. Party of three had the wings, butterfly chicken and a salad and they were all met with high praise. Nice decor and a generally good restaurant. Would recommend and come again.

The 50% discount is currently available mon to wed. Great value for money but going in groups bigger than 4/5 means that you need more than one table I.e. wait is very long. Went in a group of 6 and had to wait an overall time of 1 hour and a half. Once in, food ordering process is very simple on phone using QR code. Food takes a while to come out and you need to request for sauces that you may want, if your need refills on drinks you need to ask worker, cutlery is all brought to the table. Also there was no spicy rice due to the limited menu.... Service is a bit slow but understandable. Waiting staff were friendly and working best as they could. Would recommend if you’re willing to wait.

Went for a meal with friends. The overall experience was good. The main meal was fine. The side salad I ordered was shocking. Consisted entirely of rocket with 3 slices of cucumber and 2 baby tomatoes cut in half. Come on Nandos do a proper side salad

It is surprising that there is no one to greet you when you first come here. I've been here a few times and this hasn't changed. You come and sit and wait for someone to give you a table. This long wait is tiring. Other than that, the food and even the sauces are very good. I recommend the garlic bread.

*Halal Nando's* Went to Nando's on the 15.01.2023 for a lunch time meal. It was a Saturday so I expected it to be busy, however, we were seated straight away at a clean table and provided a high chair for my daughter. Our server was polite and explained how to order either at the till or using the QR code on the table. Qr code was easy and accessible. Ordered a full platter to share with my wife with a caramel cheesecake for dessert and a checked breast filler for my daughter off the kids menu. The food came at a good time as expected. I was disappointed on this occasion with the chicken as it was quite dry and ruined the meal a little. My daughter's chicken fillet was also quite dry. The sides were good with no complaints. The best part was the goey caramel cheesecake which came with double cream. It was really good and could've easily had two. Overall a good experience but disappointed with the chicken. Good service though.

Excellent place to spend with the most important people. The food was outstanding and the staff were friendly, smiling and provided us with a five star service. Great experience. Highly recommended. Will definitely visit again.

went here yesterday around 4:45ish- ordered butterfly chicken with peri-salted chips and broccoli, and some halloumi. food came quickly, was very nice and service was very pleasant

We ordered a takeaway and sat on some steps nearby as it was very busy ... having bought a drink. We were on the way to see Coldplay, and it was rammed. But they prioritised really well, and our food was ready within 15 minutes. In terms of what Nando's does, it does it really really well. 5/5 well. But no Michelin star, so relatively, it's a 4/5 I guess.

Great place for lunch and dinner. Always quick service and polite staff. Good range to choose from but I always end up with the chicken thighs.

Out of stock??? Called them before coming as we were visiting from london here. Was told it was okay to come in and as soon as we were greeted by the host we got told they don’t have any food to serve??? Even though we spoke to someone on the phone 30 minutes ago and were welcome to come in. Mind you it was an extremely quiet Wednesday as it was raining cats and dogs with a storm. Extremely unhappy s as I was travelling with a hungry 4 year old too.

The staff on the upper level was great. The only thing I could mention that was a bit off was the loud music. It was a tiny bit too loud. Otherwise it was great.

Normally I very much like Nandos, this time was not an amazing experience. We had to wait in a line (nothing bad) and we have been buzzed after 25 min. But when we got there not everything from the menu was available which I think they should have said that before. Food was good though, even if it wasn't want we wanted.

Brilliant staff and service. Very knowledgeable about allergies and the young man who served me went through everything to make sure I could eat it. Tables were clean and tidy and the staff were friendly.

Back in 2003 I started working for Nando’s, lasted good 3 to 4 years in there, I know exactly what to expect from staff and food because I was a staff trainer (Buddy) I visited the old brewery branch in Cardiff with my wife and three children , first thing the girl in front did not had name tag and was very cold and had miserably looking upset type face. Never smiled. Its been very long time since I last time had Nando’s so a lot was changed. She did not directed me about how to book a table and also when we were offered outside table which was very wobbly table because it was outside on uneven floor. I ask for help because kids will make a mess when eating on wobbly table. So they did very little to help me. Instead of offering inside they move me to another uneven surface. I accepted the table and food came straight from oven. Did not had any grill marks not crispy skin and also chips were cold. I won’t go there again .

Was put on a waiting list to enter as a group of 7 when there was 2 available tables outside, after waiting 20 minutes a group of 3 were sat at 1 of the available table and after confronting a staff member as to why it was done like this, in a really disrespectful tone I was told they were waiting for a table inside despite no request from us to be sat inside. 1 staff member attempted to redeem the restaurant by contacting us with every available table they had henceforth.

Great customer service. Nothing was too much trouble. My 15 year old son is a wheelchair user and they were accommodating. Food was great... well what else would you expect from Nandos?!

Food-wise, you know what you’re getting at a Nando’s. Perfectly good and decent price. The thing that separated this particular Nando’s was the staff. Absolutely lovely, really helpful and kind to a big group. Considering that this in the middle of a city centre with a high volume and turnover of customers that must be quite trying, the staff were lovely and looked after us superbly.

Very good food! Good costumer service, recommend booking a table before you want to go as you have to wait else! But otherwise when you had a table quick service, back to being able to do your own refills, lovely hot meals

I went here this afternoon a Saturday afternoon with a friend and was immediately greeted by a very professional and courteous lady. We were told as it was busy that , there would be a 20 to 30 minute wait. This actually turn into around 10 minutes. I wasn't happy with the offered table and the member of staff happily let us sit elsewhere. The food once ordered came out in no time . It was piping hot, well sized and delicious. The staff continued to be courteous and helpful . I am so grateful for this experience please keep up the good work.

Usually love Nandos but this was a really disappointing experience. Bad service from staff with an over-reliance on technology where it isn't necessary or helpful. The restaurant visibly had loads of spare tables but the team at the check-in point made us use the online booking website. They said it would be 20+ minutes but, 30 seconds later, the website said our table was ready so we were seated. They then made us use the app to order and, after inputting the whole order, it error-ed at the payment point - twice. We ordered at the till and they forgot to bring our drinks over and then forgot to bring any cutlery over. We requested cutlery when our food arrived and they still didn't bring any over. Really poor.

Food arrived cold, food served in broken bowl. Staff lovely, but absolute pain to sign in for track and trace, which is their own, despite sign by counter for NHS track and trace. Separately bring back the halloumi/Portobello option because your imitation strip burger was bad

Ordered 4 chicken thighs for delivery using the Nando’s app. This is what turned up: 1 thigh, 2 minuscule ones and a bit of gristle. To label what I received as "4 chicken thighs" would be going against the trade descriptions act. I called the number provided to complain and was told there was nothing they could do for us. Sat in this restaurant before and had great service but the polar opposite seems to be true with delivery. I would advise anybody to think twice about ordering delivery from this Nandos if they think this is acceptable to send out. This was as on top of the order arriving over 30 minutes late. Very poor.

Absolutely lovely Nando's; best in Cardiff (and there are a few!). Tony was lovely as were the rest of the staff. Very chill, very friendly, very helpful. Also got recommended this hot sauce which went down a treat. Much love xoxo

Nando’s is a go-to spot for myself, family and friends. I visited two days ago and a very kind gentleman stood out with his exceptional service. Bilal very kindly provided complimentary drinks and had very quickly responded to a few accidental issues we had.
