Been coming here over 15years, they havent refurbished much in that time so equipment is outdated to say the least, very quite most days and be would lucky to hit 30% occupancy even at their busiest, think some of the staff enjoy it this way as it means less work for them especially the heirachical staff who are probably semi retired and just want to come to work and go home doing as little as possible. Ive tried and throw business their way but if it means a little more work they're not interested so the place must be receiving sudsidies from somewhere without much accountability. The place needs a complete overhaul and change of ethos with staff who carry this down through the business. If i could give 0 stars i would.

I use the pool mostly. It is quite narrow and when one lane is roped off for lessons you can only have about five people in at one time if you hope to have a decent session. The later in the evening you can get there the better.

The access to the function room was limited and so to get from the function room you have to go through the hall into the bar and then into the function room. Wasn't a nice place to be honest.

I am a shareholder at this place as it is like a second home for me!

Friendly staff, prices a bit off kilter bottle of becks blue and a half coke £4, wife goes up asks for same £6, didn't know until got home, otherwise i would of pulled it with bar staff.

Some parts are in need of some investment, i.e. the squash courts and surrounding area.

Friendly atmosphere

I am a member of the CMC Sports and social gym. Unfortunately the gym is in poor state, it's very old equipment which is potentially dangerous. I pay a monthly membership and wonder where my money is being spent. Everytime I go into the gym a different piece of equipment is broken. Im sure other members are very unhappy with the experience also.

Pool nice and quiet for swimmers and they also do special slots for families with floats etc during school holidays. Staff are great and there is also now a coffee shop opposite.

Things are looking up! Now the pool is fully open it’s a joy to swim here! A little cafe serving snacks has just opened and the staff are really friendly! Keep it up and you’ll get 5 stars!

Safe, clean pool to myself for most of my 30 mins. in the water - & changing rooms & shower(s) to myself.

Not a wellcoming place at all. I only use the swimming pool to get rid of the stress after work in the lab long hours. When coming to swim it looks like I come to bother the person n reception, some of them quite rude. Last month for me. Before go I want to make a complaint
