The way down to the camp site is steep , they have a special truck you can ride or you can walk . The camp is inside dana biosphere reserve. The views from the camp is unbelievable, very unique rocks and mountains ,you can see some rare kinds of birds . Very quiet place for relaxing and meditations The tent in good and the bedding came sealed, you insert them by yourself, very nice experience and kids will enjoy it . Many hiking trails are available.

Amazing views of the valleys and mountains, 3 trails with different difficulties, did the easy 1.5km trail, well marked with stones and signs. Restrooms and sitting areas available, Great staff offered us tea.

Great place as a starting point for hikes. Trails are very well prepared with signs everywhere. We have enjoyed Mountain and Camp trails and would be happy to come back. Unfortunately the camp itself is closed, you can't stay overnight due to COVID-19 and its effect on the tourism in general. But many options are available in Dana Village and my favourite is Dana Guest House :)

Went there on a day trip and a hike. It was super clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The toilet/shower area smelled fresh and good and was above my expectations. We had the ‘small lunch’ option between hikes and it was quite good. The cost was 5 JDs per person and the quantity was definitely enough for more than one adult. Next time we come to Dana we will stay at the camp.

Beautiful hikes. You can look all the way to Petra. Signs along the trails are not very clear. Better to not go alone. Staff is helpful, toilets clean, but their english isn't great. Make sure to inform yourself beforehand of the hikes here at Rumana

We stayed here and had a pretty dissapointing experience. The surrounding area is beautiful and the bed in the tent was great. However the service was less than ideal. We got to the camp after waiting for the truck to pick us up and the camp had no water, refused to give us any type of packed breakfast because we were leaving before the allocated breakfast time (8:30am) which is very late. Dinner was said to be at 7:30 pm and was served 30 minutes late. Lastly, since we were hiking the next day we needed to depart before breakfast at around 7:00am, and the staff there refused to drive us up to the car park leading to us having to walk 2km uphill. All in all, for 80 jd (pretty expensive for tents) the service and experience was pretty dissapointing. I would reccomend staying at the Dana guesthouse 20 mins up the road. It's cheaper, better service, and closer to many of the main trails in Dana.

This was a great place to stay. The bathrooms were really nice in comparison to others here in Jordan (nicer than Petra’s bathrooms). The staff were really accommodating and the food was great traditional foods! The tents are nice and the bedding was warm. The commons area was really nice as well. I think my one concern/suggestion is to increase the trail system or just a better map of the trails already created.

We absolutely loved Rumana Camp! Everything was perfect - the location, the service, the facilities and of course the food. We stayed for four nights and can confirm that it's perfect for everyone who likes a bit of adventure and not the standard hotel experience. There are many hikes from the camp which is so convenient. We'll come again!

The campsite and its surroundings is amazing. Tents are equipped with comfortable mattresses and linens which are adequate to the temperatures. The dinner and breakfast was tasty but for the second evening basically just got the leftovers from the first evening. The staff is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we were disappointed about the sustainable aspect they tell to put an eye on and the value for money.. The soap in the bathroom was not a natural product, the linen are packed in plastic bags for every bed (you have to make your bed which is not ok for the price you pay), the food on the buffet is packed in plastic (staff does not remove the plastic cover, guests have to do it..) and there are only single use cups which is a shame. They should really improve these things since it is a beautiful place in the middle of nature. We liked our stay but wouldn't pay this price again..

Situated beautifully in the landscape where you can easily explore the trails of the reserve.
