I’ve lived in Burlington for many years and ordered from them more times than I can count from sheer necessity (very sensitive gluten allergy), but I have never wished more strongly I could have a better option. They have done everything from sending the wrong pizza to double charging me for a pizza (that I never got a refund for despite leaving a message, talking to someone on the phone “while the owner wasn’t in” and emailing), being able to place an order while they were unexpectedly closed, and tonight was just such a frustrating straw on the camels back. Not only do they charge $4.22 for being gluten free, but I paid $21 for a build your own pizza with pesto that had max 2 teaspoons of pesto and otherwise was basically the most expensive cracker I’ve ever bought. At this point I think I’d actually rather risk cross contamination than deal with their unprofessionalism and at best decent but horrifically overpriced food again. The most frustrating part is that when that ordering while closed incident happened I got a very heartfelt apology call from a manager so I KNOW they have at least one person invested in doing this well, and that’s the only reason I’ve even lasted this long but one person is clearly not enough to hold this ship together.

The pizzas here are lovely. They’re the only semi affordable pizza place in walking distance so I very much appreciate that. The pasta though, I don’t know what I was expecting but I was very unhappy with the quality of my meal. I ordered the pesto pasta, and it was not indicated that it was a pesto cream sauce. I love pesto, hate pesto cream. It’s a completely different dish. The pasta was mush and did not hold up at all. It was also completely flavorless grease, I actually tested myself for COVID after eating because of how little flavor there was. The staff were very kind though, but it was so hot in there that I felt terrible for them. I feel like there has to be a law about the temperature limit for staff working in a restaurant.

wow i’m truly disappointed. i never usually write reviews but this order made it necessary to share. this is my first time ordering from them! :( me and my friend ordered pizza a sandwich, pasta, garlic bread, a cannoli and a cookie…first off the pasta and the cookie were missing!! the cannoli was barely filled. the garlic bread was literally just bread and the bbq chicken sub looked rancid… don’t get food from here :(

I have ordered Pizza from Piesanos for over 8 years. I asked for it to be cooked crispy because the last time it was doughy and it happened again today. The person who answered the phone "talked to the chef" and of Course, he said it was fine. For the first time in my life, I called to complain. They offered to send a new pizza and send the previously delivered. Gladly. I order every week, pizza, plus salad and tip $30.00. Unless it improves. time to move on.

Easily (very easily) the best pizza slice in Burlington. If you actually know what good pizza tastes like this is the only spot in Burlington you can go to. They're cheap and large and flavorful and they have a great selection of subs and whatnot and san pellegrino. Sometimes the crowd inside is kinda rowdy or on crack but thats what you gotta deal with to get great pizza. I honestly do not go for pizza anywhere else in Burlington unless this place is closed.

Accommodating staff, and quality ingredients used make for quality pizza. I loved my savory veggie slice with extra broccoli. Super-thin, delicious crust. And I appreciated the fact that there was no music playing in the pizzeria (thank you !!!).

You must come here for the TACOs!! Pizza is okay but 3 tacos for $10.00 is a deal. Large portions, authentic, and delicious.

Disappointing experience. Hours late with delivery. Woman was nice on the phone but it still doesn't make up for a 9:46 delivery for a 7:06 order placement. Also, I had to call them, they did not inform me that the food was just sitting there for hours. Meh.

I have ordered from piesanos a few times and we always love the pizza. Delivery is always a little late but not terrible. I recently called and ordered a pizza for delivery. I called again after over an hour because they said it would get here in 40 min. The guy who answered said I didn't call and make the order because he takes all the orders and doesn't remember talking to me. He was being really rude to me when I told him I definitely called this store. He then said that is impossible and I probably put the order in online, but I think I would remember doing that. He then asks another guy he is with, specifically saying "either this girl is very confused or you took her order" and this other guy gets on the phone and tells me the delivery driver will be here in any minute. I did not receive any apology from that rude man that answered the phone. Finally, the delivery driver calls me to tell me she's here but she was given the wrong address, and this is after I confirmed my address with the person who took my order twice. Still waiting on that order...

FOOD - Amazing pizza!! Best in Vermont (besides mine). Had the Buffalo Chicken Pizza. SERVICE - Friendly. ATMOSPHERE - HORRIBLE!! The place was 120 degrees, and you couldn't sit in there without feeling like you were going to die.

The Pizza was alright. It was basic. It tasted good. I had the Buffalo Chicken Pizza. Everyone was friendly. There was only 2 people working though. If you want Pizza In Burlington this is the best choice out of all of them.

Ordered about 7:45pm on a Tuesday night through their website. Food arrived a full 3hrs later (estimate was 50-60min). Called twice during that time and they said it should be about 20min both times (an hour apart). I could even forgive late food but everything absolutely stank of cigarettes. I could smell it on the box and then went back 15 minutes later and could still smell it. Pasta was watery. I will say, we got one slice of pizza which tasted great, so they have that going for them. Wow. I normally only leave good reviews but wow.

The broccoli chicken Alfredo with spaghetti noodles is AMAZING. I eat it way to often but I'm not complaining 😃 the desserts are delicious and they have a good amount of variety too. I recommend the cheesecake. The staff is 10/10 with their customer service and their patients while you're ordering over phone. Super helpful super cheerful. And it's in a great part of downtown. You won't be disappointed.

Pizza is great, and delivery is usually fine. But this time it took almost 2 hours, and the delivery person apparently did not read the directions.

Good pizza, bad deliveries. I order from Piesanos sometimes on weekends, but the past couple times I’ve ordered, the delivery person has left no notice whatsoever when dropping off my pizza—not even knocking or ringing my doorbell. The past delivery I didn’t even know it was outside for about thirty minutes before finally calling Piesanos and discovering that the driver had ‘completed’ my order a while ago without even letting me know.

I ordered pizza for pick up over the phone. They said 30 mins and hung up. I got there and it wasn’t even made or in the system after 35 mins. The people are rude. I really love their pizza and so does my kids but it isn’t worth the extra waiting and disrespect for their customers. So two stars only for the pizza.

Pizza in Burlington is almost always bad but this is the one place I like to go to in town. It is definitely the best pizza place in town, in terms of pizza quality. I often go there thinking they should be open but they are rarely open during the hours posted on the door. Only go for dinner because that is when they appear to be open.

Decent. The pizza isn't bad but it also isn't great. I come from an area with many New York and Greek style pizza places so I'm rather spoiled with that. That being said, this was a good enough quality that I'd come here again if I wanted something quick and cheap. I bought two slices of pizza.
