Delicious. Our first time and loved it. Pork belly was lean and perfect. Chicken breast was tasty and moist. Vegetables are cooked to perfection. Lovely professional staff.

The food was magnificent. The price was great value at only $45 for 3 delicious courses. I will certainly be back and sharing this gem with friends and family. Recommendations: 1st course - stuffed mushrooms, 2nd course - baramandi & 3rd course - pana cota. Amazing mocktails and cocktails too.

Very good service and food was great as well. Décor is a bit tired in this place, but other than than that pretty good.

I recently dined at Portabella with friends, and I have to say I had a wonderful night out. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was just perfect, and the service was superb. All staff on that night were welcoming; however, I was so impressed by our very friendly and attentive waitress, Bella. She was polite well mannered and had a beautiful big smile on her face in all of her interactions with us. No request was too big, and Bella added to the wonderful night out with her attentive, friendly table service. I will absolutely be coming back to Portabella.

Attended here for a birthday dinner. Table of 9. I have been to this restaurant on 2 other occasions where I have sat in a large group. I have always found the food to be very nice. Good size portions and a good selection from the menu. The service is always slow. It can take a while to get your meals and even order meals and drinks. The staff are always friendly and most of the waitresses are young. The prices are expensive for the area of Albany Creek. I found 36 dollars for basic beer battered fish and chips extremely overpriced.

A nice and tasty suburban restaurant experience. Enjoyed the menu whilst the ambiance was unexpected. Friendly staff and notable service. I observed a wide range of customer demographic types which is indicative of it's broad appeal.

The salad in all main dish is really good, and very kind and nice service. Kids menus are all good. Love the salad dressing every menu.

We were the 1st customers to try 2 dishes of the new menu. Food was presented beautifully and was delicious. Haven't got a thing to fault. Service was great too.

The service we experienced was exceptional. From where I say I was able to watch the wait staff and they were incredible in their attentiveness and service. The food is quite good we enjoyed what we ordered. Prices are ok For me a craft beer drinker, finding craft beers on tap was a big bonus This is a restaurant we will certainly visit again

Ocotober '22 - we ordered the chicken breast & gnocchi - the gnocchi was excellent - very good texture and softeness. The chicken was a bit dry, some tough bits. Overall the dish needed a more salt to elevate the dish. See photos below April '22 - Very good Italian . Probably the best Gnocchi I've had in 7 years. Can't wait to go back. It's not cheap though.

The tapas are wonderful and the service is even better. If luxury fast food was a thing, this place would be where it’s at. Each dish had a unique and flavorful bite. Order two small and two large tapas, a tasty beverage, and a desert for about A$100. Book ahead. Wear a mask to enter, take it off at the table, and put it back on to leave. It’s worth it.

The tapas here are amazing! A great hidden gem in the Northside of Brisbane. Food can get a little pricey but I find the quality is worth it. The scallops were so well cooked and flavourful, the aranchini balls are top notch and stuffed mushrooms delicious.

The food was lovely. Couldn’t fault it. The table service was non existent. It all started when we had to call her away from having a good time with the bar staff and she wasn’t happy as they were having a good time and she had to work. Had to call the waitress over as our drinks were on the counter for around 10 minutes. The bar girl even topped the beer up as it had lost its head. We were never asked if we would like another drink. We then had to ask for the desert menu. The spoons came out for desert and were thumped down on the table not even in the correct setting place. Amazing that all this time and we were very polite.

Great place. The staff were friendly and efficient. Food was delicious, especially the platter.

Mushroom entrée was fantastic. 4 mushrooms on a dinner plate looked lost ,but a great meal. Pork belly main , The crisply crackling was a separate piece and it was cremated, couldn't cut it , tried breaking a piece of , not a chance . The meat was dry and had trouble cutting that . use a fork to tear a piece of and try . uneatable. shared the Wife's chicken dish and honestly wasn't much better. eatable just . Great fall down in 4 months since we were there last time . The sliding front door has got to a stage where you need a crow bar to shift now instead of 2 hands .

Had my wifes birthday there last night, To start with they tried to sit us in a corner that blocked views to rest of restaurant. They moved us next to kitchen which they said was the only other table free. Restaurant was no more than 60% full all night. The food was pretty good and service and service friendly. Our biggest issue was the state of the place. The tiles on the floor are cracked and dirty , tables were sticky, paintwork is shabby, entrance to toilets is disgusting. Chefs dont wear hats and have lots of hair. I wonder when this place last had an inspection. Much in need of a major renovation. A disappointing evening.

Service was great but the menu was disappointing. Booked in for mother's day because they had a nice looking vegetarian menu, but when we arrived we realised the set menu they had for the day had no vegetarian entrees listed and only one main. Ended up paying $64 and waiting an hour and a half for a pasta dish and a sticky date pudding. Would not recommend this place for vegetarians on busy days.

We have been going here as our favourite place for as long as I can remember. Used to be a great place but it has deteriorated unfortunately. Service has slowly deteriorated over time and is now non existent. We were the only ones there for 50 minutes yet our order took over an hour to come out. And not at the same time. Despite 4 waitresses and no one else there we were never asked whether we needed more drinks while waiting for food without indicating we needed more. I believe our food was fired up 50 minutes after our order when the chefs were asked about our table’s order. Lesson learned. We will move on.

Have been here a couple of times for dinner and loved it. So great to have an option for wonderful food and service tucked away in suburbia. Our meals have been amazing quality each time. The staff very attentive and knowledgeable with the wine options. Thankyou for such a lovely experience. Will definitely be back.

We had one of the best dinner experience. Food had very nice flavour and perfectly cooked. Very helpful staff members and amazing drink.

Food and service was 10/10. Absoutely loved it. HIGHLY recommend.

Food was ok, not special and compared to other restaurants, over priced. Service was again nothing out of the ordinary. Atmosphere was shocking. The tables were so close together, every time a staff member walked past (which was frequently) they brushed the backs of the guests sitting on that side of the table. Wouldn't bother going again.

We’ve dined at Portabella a number of times and have never been disappointed. The food is always full of flavour, there’s a great selection and the service has always been wonderful. I see a lot of comments about not having enough staff and I think it’s important to remember there is a staff shortage everywhere at the moment and a lot of hospitality venues are struggling to fill vacancies so let’s be kind. We’ll keep dining here, the food really is magnificent.

I really enjoyed this place. Entrees were very good and we got the share platter for mains. Really good flavours, I could not fault the food I had. Someone else on our table had the pork and said it was a bit dry. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and nice people.

Loved having dinner here. The food was amazing, although service was a tad slow. The flavours in my pasta were to die for, and I definitely see myself going back for more.

Second time dining in here, food was just as good as the first time. Looking forward to dining here again in the future
