安平古堡瞭望台，於1975年當時候的地方政府另外建設的瞭望台，而非原有的古蹟的瞭望台，而這座瞭望台在天氣好的時候，可以看見台灣海峽以及出海口的鹽水溪。 登樓後到頂端，共分東、西、南、北共四面，每一面還會標註周邊各地理位置，例如： 🏛東面：鹽水溪水鳥覓食區、文龍殿、海珊館、廣濟宮、文珠殿、延平街數王公。 🏛西面：安平水景橋、聖樂倫教堂、熱蘭遮城博物館、臺灣城殘蹟、東興洋行、鹽神白沙灘公園、系遊出張所、原英商和記洋行、。 🏛南面：安平開臺天后宮、億載金城、安平公墓、安平小砲台、舊安平港。 🏛北面：安平樹屋、德記洋行、朱玖瑩紀念館、西門國小操場、原五條港運河河道、鹽水溪、咖啡館。 💵付費資訊：需要在安平古堡購票入場 🌟其他補充： 1.如有洗手間🚻等需求需要到安平古堡指定位置。 2.今天匆忙進入，忘記計算樓層高度，應該至少有約有五層高度。 3.部分介紹到的地理位置，有些是較為熱門的景觀區域，有些則是要購票進場，如果購買套票會比較便利，因為使用時限較長，不用一次使用完畢。 📝最近到訪日：2021/04/22

Man the cannons, up the ramparts, raise the colours - the ambience of Fort Anping in Tainan city is great for a walk into the past of this colourful coastal city/town. The fort was raised in the past n reminiscent of its Dutch, Chinese n Japanese ancestry n history. It was primarily the altercation with the Dutch that facilitated the building of this fortified bastion. The fort has been maintained n is well restored with a high watchtower which facilitates cannons and all. Many artefacts n a showcase of historical items are well displayed n translated into English. It’s a good hour’s tour and the surrounding area has many local food outlets n cafes. Entrance fee is minimal n it’s a well recommended tour for the entire family. The entrance before the fort also has an ancient temple with accompanying high gates and both have intricate carvings n architecture- a plus bonus for visitors to the fort 👍

高い建物がほとんどない安平地域で ひときわ目立つ塔です。英雄鄭成功が オランダ軍を打ち破った砦があり、 望楼があります。観光・娯楽目的 で建築されたのでなく、見張り用 （軍事・安全）。　よって飾り気が ありません。けれど、だからこそ シンプルな美しさがあります。安平 地区に来たら必見のスポットですね。

Interesting history. The museum and shop are worth a visit, but it’s a pity that only one original wall remains. So what you can visit has not much to do with the old Dutch fort

Anping fort is a really cool place with beautiful views. It’s in a lovely area. If taking the bus, it can take a while from the main area of Tainan to get to this fort. It’s a pretty quick visit and not a super large fort. There’s a fun market area nearby!

A place to understand Taiwan history

登高後可望安平區東西南北四向，但空間內無冷氣稍悶熱。原址為日人於1908年將光緒年建於安平埠頭之鐵殼造圓形白色燈塔遷建於磚台上西北側，並置專人看守，以4秒鐘一閃光，導引海上船隻。1945年建塔監控四周防空，1975年配合觀光年計畫加建尖形屋頂並以白漆牆如今。

Impressive fort that looks good for its age. It’s a lot of stair climbing so just keep that in mind. There is an observation tower at the very time that gives you a nice view of the city.

Fort itself is also a must visit spot if really want to see history of Taiwan in correct sequence.

It was a nice morning stop. Got to know about some Dutch influences in Tainan. It was a nice time spent. Not very big, was done in less than an hour.
