Got there at around 10am, sliced beef soup sold out... Instead had their beef tendon soup. Soup was great had really beefy flavor, beef tendon was cooked to the right tenderness.

Large size of it it's not that big, the cp value should be higher coz it takes lots of time waiting on the line.

You should go to the restaurant as early as possible. Probably, 5 a.m. in the morning is the best time. The queue was so long, so I had to wait almost 1 hour. In my opinion, the taste of beef soup is just okay. In my personal preferences, it probably needs more spices.

I waited for 40 minutes even so early from 06:43. Ordinary beef I think it's too chewy. I had better one and doesn't need to wait for soooo long. I think it's not worth waiting. You could save your time and money.

Arrived around 8am and had to wait about 10 minutes for a seat, tasty beef broth, tender rare beef, a bowl of rice and heaps of ginger and chili all for under £3, whats not to like! No queue when we left around 9am.

It's a nice beef soup but probably not worth the hype and very very long queue! Apparently the queue starts before 4am.

The soup was good you can tell the broth was “take time made”, the beaf was chewy than I expect( I thought its gonna be more tender but I’m ok with that~)… But is that worth the around 1.5-2 hrs waiting? I don’t think so… we be there at 5:00 in the morning and it has a line for waiting… the staffs are fast but less management so some costumers were taking an hour like having a Michelin meal for a beaf soup… I def not coming back waiting 2 hrs for it, but if you stay a place close and have time for it, you can give it a shot

Their beef soup is the best!! If you go to Tainan, you must try this!! But you need to queue early and wait for quite a long time. I need to wake up around 3 A.M and go straight there to queue, if not I don't think you can eat the beef soup. Before 5 A.M there a lot of people already queued there, so better come early, like maybe around 4 or 3.30 A.M if you really want to try the beef soup.

Good beef soup, but you have to go there before 5:00 am or you have to wait at least one hour for one bowl of soup

The beef soup, very famous dish in Tainan. It was my first try if it. We arrived like 30m before its closing time, so no more beef soup. Only plate/ flank soup and other internal organ parts…. We tried plate/flank soup, it’s delicious.

Taste is ok, price is a bit expensive for such a small bowl. I saw other customers eat the soup together with a bowl of rice.

$120 for a small bowl of beef soup. Heard that you have to go super early but we went at 8am on a Saturday and it was still available. Most people get a bowl of rice to eat with the beef else the soup by itself doesn’t really fill you up.
