Well,
it's
funny
answering
the
rating
system
here.
What
counts
is
that
they
are
themselves
well.
Do
they
hit
what
they're
aiming
at?
Are
they
coherent?
And
YES,
I
see
them
as
totally
coherent.
They're
not
about
great
food,
they're
about
coffee,
and
a
choice
to
go
with,
so
your
stomach
isn't
empty
and
objecting.
Cinnamon
rolls
are
always
disappointing,
but
I
still
order
them.
I
like
projecting
the
memory
of
my
mom's
fantastic
cinnamon
rolls.
DavidYang
isn't
FOR
service
that
announces
itself
as
great.
Their
service
is
coherent
with
their
aim.
They're
about
professional,
light,
effective
service
that
gets
the
order
handled,
and
moves
on.
They
customer
really
has
all
they
need.
They
simplify,
as
needed,
for
that.
There's
something
refreshingly
honest
about
just
hitting
the
mark
as
set,
by
them,
not
me.
It's
coherent.
Their
spaces
(2
I
think)
both
reflect
heart,
care,
attention...
but
obviously
they
are
really
about
fast
and
take-out,
focusing
on
the
coffee
side.
That
said,
it's
a
go-to
place
when
I
need
to
immerse
in
some
unusual
deep
focus
work.
It's
perfect
for
that.
I'm
private
in
a
public
space.
Yum!
Satisfied
people
are
moving
in
and
out.
Tainan
street
views
are
sweet.
People
attracted
there
are
open,
relaxed
and
focused.
Not
Starbucks,
not
CoffeeGenes,
not
7-11
--
these
are
all
built
for
different
purposes.
DavidYang's
is
a
small
tight
ship
focused
on
the
in-and-out
for
good
coffee
in
a
space
demonstrating
heart.
