The bar would be better if there was no cover charge. Dj is usually terrible and not worth the fee. Same faces every week, only saving grace is it's an English based bar. Great hangout if you're a foreigner with limited mandarin. However, if you speak good mandarin there are far better places in the city to spend your money. #ForeignDive

IG: foodie_foxx Pre Halloween celebration, Friday night, the day when I was not emotionally well, these guys made me bounce back to my normal life after that wonderful hospitality and experience ❤, they had 2 Dj's one Taiwanese and one afro guy. Both were super awesome, but mostly I was starting down, because I was all alone 😔 and feeling like I was lost somewhere haha. They has cover charges that day 200$NTD, 100 FOR ENTRY and 100 coupon for drinks. Started of with Shots (tequila) did not get salt and lemon, I guess the bartender forgot, lol 😅, then around the world cocktail and then another tequila, then continued with 3 beers. I almost spent 1500 $ntd that night, I think which was worth enough. I feel the cocktails should be more strong, according to me it was light. I was a frequent visitor there when they were near the train station, but this is my first time to be here. Prime location, no parking available, they have a number of tables inside and outside. There are 2 floors in total and both the floors have bar as well as dance floor. The old bar in tainan which has dance floor, which made the night really exciting and wonderful 😀. One of the few, possibly the only big bar in Taiwan with a pool table. If you like a big bar with high open spaces and a pool table, then this is it. And the foods good.

This review is long overdue. My girlfriend and I were down in Tainan for a weekend trip over the Super Bowl weekend in Feb 2021. As big football fans, we tried to find a bar that opens early for the Super Bowl party (7am in the morning due to time difference.) Legends was the only bar opened, and it was also having a $500 breakfast buffet. My girlfriend and I was on a foodie tour in Tainan, so we didn't feel like getting full on our first stop at Legends. When I offered the owner (Chris? I think...) to at least pay for the coffees, he politely declined. I understand it was probably negligible cost to him, but the gesture really stood out to me. Chris was kind enough to offer us seats to watch the Super Bowl, free of charge. (I guess southern hospitality also lives in Taiwan!) There are lots of hip, trendy bars in Tainan. However, as far as I know, Legends is the only true Western bar in Tainan. Great for expats to chill and hang out if you're looking for a familiar vibe. People are also nice and down to Earth. Worth a visit if you want a difference bar experience!

A nice bar with some decent food. I enjoyed the veggie burger and tacos were good. The music was a bit loud and out of place early on but the staff were friendly and the on-tap beer is good. Bit quiet on a Tuesday night, I hope they attract a few more people!

It gets amazing late at night. Don't go there early if you want to dance and have fun with lots of people

I dined and drank few cocktails and shots. The staff is lovely, the food is flavorsome, and the prices are reasonable enough.

Great atmosphere. Place full of foreigners. Good place to get away from the locals. Great beer selection.. just beware of the tiny, super steep stairs!

It's OK, I guess it gets busy at night time with a club upstairs but it was pretty dead and wasn't much atmosphere. Beer was OK and fair prices.

Good music, nice dance floor, inexpensive drinks, awesome bar staff and owners. Love the chill downstairs area for taking a break from dancing. Thankful that Legends continues to live on always a good time!

Good selection of beer and food. The vegetarian tacos were fantastic! This place is definitely an expat hangout, as more than half of the customers were not native Taiwanese.

Amazing staff and food, great looking place. Cocktails are rich and flavorful and the food is amazing. I recommend this to anyone, alone, with someone special or with friends. 10/10 must visit if in Tainan.

It’s a fun place to meet people from the world, but the music on 2F was not very fit for dancing.

There are three floors, it's more fun to come on Saturday, the cocktails here is very ordinary, just come to enjoy the atmosphere

Food is good is a place for foreigners and they have reservation but in the and you go and they don ask you you just get in and find a table. Third floor has 🎯. Sencod floor is dance floor.

Great music on first floor by live DJ. 2nd floor also has a dj and a dance floor. 3rd floor has a pool table and darts.

Legends is a nice place to have fun. And beside that they really take care of us. In my experience, I was so drunk and wasted one day, then the next day I realized that I lost my ring. Then I asked them whether they found it or not. AND THEY DID! Imagine, it’s a very tiny things, a ring, but they keep it for you. Thank you so much, no wonder this place called Legends, because it is Legendary!!!
