On top of that , it was expensive and the portions were measly, though served in quite oversized plates. Came here 3 times in 3 years. The food has only gotten progressively worse. Poor CP value overall!

A horrible quality of food and service. We ordered chicken thigh dinner set for 350nt and they served us with a raw chicken. Here's a thing, I asked one of the lesbian waitress to cook it again and she said this, "oh, you want it well done?" Really? As far as I know, chicken should be always well cooked otherwise your customers will get sick from the bacteria that are usually present from poultry products(e.g salmonella). It's so clear that the employees here weren’t knowledgeable enough on how to handle customer complaint. I would've appreciate it if they said sorry instead of trying to divert faults.

I can't say enough good things about this place. The food is spot on. Some of the best Mexican food I've eaten in Taiwan. The service was very personal and helpful and VERY friendly. The drinks were perfect. The service was done exactly right, and they asked me how I wanted things served. I ordered a beer and tried a margarita and it was served perfectly with salt on the edge of the glass. The chips and refried beans were a perfect start. I ordered chicken, fish, beef, and shrimp tacos, and they were brimming with flavor. Topped off with their hot green salsa, they were perfect... Just too big, I had to carry some out. Quesdilla - white flour flat bread with stuffed meat, cheesy and creamy inside with the stuffing being so soft and delicious 3. Bean dip - my gal friend's yummy dish that she wanted to have. I haven't eaten the real Mexican style bean dip, but in India we do have a bean curry and it tastes very similar. 4. Mexican pizza - very thin crust, made from the tortilla flour, very crunchy, crispy and with perfectly spread toppings on the whole pizza. 5. Beef tacos - the best, economical, affordable and the poor man's treat... 6. Fajita - stripped naked meat, with stripped peppers and long onions with awesome Mexican spices and grilled perfectly, the onions were perfectly caramelized and it was both tender and crunchy. Recommended drinks 1. Fish bowl - the best party cocktail, made with rum, ya pappi (tequila), Corona beer and lemon. Gals spoiler alert u might get tipsy after this hard-core dude. The staff here is amazing and welcomes us like we're friends. The food is pretty good. Compared to Mexican food I've had growing up, it's a little different but similar enough. A group of 16 of us were celebrating our colleague's birthday when we visited Funkoo Bar. We went on Funkoo's Facebook page to make a reservation 4 hours prior to our arrival, and they reserved the indoor section of the bar for us. The waitress was very accommodating with us in regards to taking orders from 16 people all at once, and even taking the dietary restrictions of a few of us (I.e no onions, vegan, vegetarian), but she was patient and understanding. I got one of each variety of their taco; fish, shrimp, pork, chicken, beef, pork belly. Be warned, these things have a little kick to them, but they are really delicious (the chicken was pretty standard, that's the lowest one on my list). If you love fatty pork belly, you've got to try this taco! The beer battered fish and shrimp tacos were pretty good too (though the shrimp was a little salty). Overall, this bar's pretty sweet, served pretty good Mexican food and alcohol. Would definitely come back again.
