Incredible exhibition of the literary history of Taiwan, and for a visitor so happy it was translated into English so I could get a much better understanding of this nation. And as an architect, I was so happy to see the revealed existing building components included in the exhibition.

The building is an amazing blend of the original structure and new construction. The permanent exhibit has plenty of English for non native speakers to engage with. The visiting exhibits are only in Chinese. Unfortunate but understandable. They are still visually pleasing. I would love to see the museum again with out pandemic conditions. I feel there was quite a bit that was missing due to restrictions. The library on site look awesome as well

Excellent free English audio tour gave understanding of Taiwanese literature and the influence of history, technology and economy on literature. There were many additional features that looked intriguing but I couldn’t access because of my language limitations. The curators were thoughtful in terms of framing the exhibit. The muse space is beautiful and the staff was helpful. Recommend a visit.

(Translated by Google) It is a good place to improve temperament and cultivate children's literary cognition. The only drawback is that some of the exhibition areas did not make notices. The children only sat up to take pictures, but were suddenly reprimanded by volunteers in the hall. After the reprimands, they might feel embarrassed. They relaxed the standard and said that they can sit up and take pictures. It is obviously "welcome." "Take a picture" or "no touch" sign can be solved, but it makes the volunteers feel volatile, making children feel inexplicable and adults feel uncomfortable.

Really nice building with a good amount of knowledge inside. There were journals dating from the Japanese occupation of Taiwan, to the era of censorship before the 1990s. Upstairs there are literary works and stories from Taiwan’s Indigenous Peoples.

Insightful museum. The important info has English and Japanese translations. All written text, so the literature, is in Chinese. Every hour, there is a robot giving guided tours in English (although it did scare me when it randomly passed me, haha). Museum is a nice place to stay for an hour. Gift shop isn't too expensive, but it's still a gift shop.

(Translated by Google) The exhibition is rich in content, with exquisite design and layout If you like the travel style of check-in routes, you can leave after taking photos here. In less than half an hour, the spots where you can take beautiful photos on the Internet should be almost the same. But travelers who love literature or love to watch exhibitions can really visit here for a long time (short one or two hours, and more can go around slowly for half a day), you can suggest to leave more time for this place (Original)

Excellent museum worth a visit when in Tainan. Admission is free. You can learn more about the history of the building which have existed since the Japanese occupation. It also gave a great introduction to the different genres of Taiwanese literature and some of the seminal Taiwanese authors. The exhibitions also contain very engaging and interactive elements which will appeal to families with young children.

(Translated by Google) The second visit encountered renovation, but it was still open. I happened to encounter the promotion of the origin of literature in Taiwan. I calm down and watch it slowly, enjoy and absorb the history of Taiwan's literature and art. In addition, there is a small navigation robot that will provide explanations, which is also a special small interaction. The Literature Museum is conveniently located next to the Confucian Temple and Art Museum I and II. The environment is also very comfortable and clean, suitable for you who love literature! PS, the goods sold in the art store inside are very textured! Big push! !

(Translated by Google) This place is really full of homesickness. The Taiwan Literature Museum is full of antique architectural flavors, and then it represents the existence of history. What is even more rare is that there are literature-related exhibitions and lectures under such a background, and even Books related to literature and art are all great and worthy of a visit for travelers.

(Translated by Google) The beauty of the building itself is an excellent point of view. Its balconies, cloisters and windows are the key points, but they are sealed off or used as internal staff offices. It is a pity that it is impossible to directly use the exterior scenery and sunlight to achieve the vitality of this building.
