Yueh,
originally
from
Tainan
and
famous
for
their
traditional
Tainan
noodles
(Danzai
Noodles),
is
definitely
a
must
try
for
their
food,
price
and
a
more
pleasant
setting
that
is
in
stark
contrast
to
the
more
local
establishments
elsewhere.
Danzai
Noodles
(TWD
50)
Probably
the
dish
most
people
come
here
for,
it’s
a
noodle
dish
using
egg
noodles,
an
umami
prawn
broth,
braised
minced
pork
on
top
and
a
single
prawn.
The
pork
has
a
bit
of
spice
and
you
can
opt
out
of
cilantro
and
garlic
if
you
do
not
like
them.
This
is
definitely
a
must
try,
the
serving
is
small
enough
for
everyone
to
have
one!
Deep-fried
Shrimp
Roll
(TWD
180)
It’s
not
stated
in
the
English
naming,
but
it’s
actually
a
signature
dish
and
I
would
recommend
getting
it
as
a
side
dish!
It’s
perfectly
crispy
with
lots
of
prawn
alongside
some
vegetables
to
fill.
Roasted
Milk-fish
Stomach
(TWD
180)
In
case
you’re
wondering,
no
it’s
not
the
internal
organ
but
the
flesh
that
resides
around
the
stomach
portion
of
the
fish.
The
fish
is
very
tender
and
is
tasty
enough
to
eat
without
any
additional
seasonings.
With
the
plum
powder,
it
gives
it
an
extra
kick
and
savouriness,
reminiscent
of
night
market
street
food.
It
also
takes
10-15
minutes
to
grill
this
fish
so
it
will
come
after
the
rest
of
the
dishes
are
served.
