I love this place and 蛋餅 and it’s English name. There’s really nothing to do with avocado, but its name in Chinese sounds like that. They do egg pancakes which is salty and great. Enjoy this place! You will ganna miss here when you leave.

They don’t sell avocadoes like how they are called in English but this is the place for traditional Taiwan pancake roll. It’s something worth trying if your headed to Tainan. Their pancakes are so chunky and the texture is so chewy.

The Chinese omelette tastes good, and the portion is very big.

20200501: a breakfast restaurant that makes a common Taiwanese breakfast food 蛋餅 that is essentially a rolled crepe with eggs. they are quite good but the ones from this shop are a bit unusual. by unusual, we mean there was an intense and overpowering flavor of uncooked batter. not sure if this is what people like (maybe uncooked batter is considered a delicacy in these parts?) but it was close to inedible. could not finish the whole portion despite being somewhat hungry. as you can see from the photo the portion is quite thick and substantial--perhaps this is why? in contrast, had the rolled crepe at Toast Toast later in the day and there was no uncooked batter taste. the soy milk and the tea with soy milk were excellent though.

The foods are traditionally prepared and not really greasy. The soyabean and blacktea/soyabean are my favs here. It is not expensive and make me full everytime I eat here. Recommend to visit in early morning 6-8 am especially in weekend otherwise have to wait for long queue.

A very Taiwanese common street food. Typically, every Taiwanese eat this in the morning to office or school. We call it Egg roll crepes. This vendor provides very efficient price egg roll crepes, there are 4 choices: ham, plain, cheese and corn. I chose cheese this time. It tasted soft and crisp. The drink is soy milk with black tea, that was very tasty. If you are looking for Taiwanese local food, this is the vendor you won’t miss.
