Yes it is that good. Initially it is just a very average Zongzi. And then a Burt of flavor came with a bite that has salted egg yolk in it. And there it was the full justification of it's Michelin Star. Also it was a Monday afternoon without any line.

the normal meat glutinous rice dumpling is enough, incremental cost for the more luxurious versions not really worth it. best with sugar! visit(s): 20230603

When you arrive in Tainan, come right here. Order the bamboo leaf wrapped meat gluten rice snack, 八寶粽, bābǎo zong. There are different versions of this but you can order the basic one I provided. It has about eight ingredients including mushrooms, scallops, pork, fried shrimp, chestnuts, duck yolk (from duck egg). Be sure to order their excellent flower tea, guihua cha, 桂花茶. Very filling. Not a small snack. Note this establishment has been serving this dish for over 100 years, circa 1872.

150ntd dumpling. I was surprised to receive the dumpling with overflowing juice. Rich in ingredients and flavour. It could be served hotter.
