It’s
a
French
inspired
Asian
fusion
restaurant
that
is
only
open
for
reservations
at
lunch
and
dinner
time.
I
had
a
positive
experience
dining
there,
which
was
almost
a
surprise
as
the
description
of
the
service
on
the
booking
app
and
their
strict
rules
about
booking
made
me
question
how
friendly
the
service
was
going
to
be.
They
require
a
paid
deposit
for
the
reservation,
which
can
be
quite
tricky
to
pay
unless
you
are
in
town
and
can
do
that
in
cash,
definitely
not
if
you
are
a
foreigner
and
you
are
not
even
in
the
city.
Luckily
I
managed
to
call
them
and
they
allowed
me
not
to
pay
the
deposit
as
it
simply
wouldn’t
have
been
feasible.
You
have
to
indicate
a
day
in
advance
if
you
want
the
Beef
Wellington.
As
the
service
starts
at
certain
times,
you
have
to
be
on
time
-
I
found
that
a
bit
stressful
as
I
feared
that
we
would
be
late
for
dinner
and
we
would
be
turned
away
(as
I
said,
the
description
of
the
service
and
the
requirements
are
pretty
unfriendly).
The
restaurant
has
a
pretty
simple
decor.
It
has
darkened
windows
so
no
one
can
see
inside.
We
had
an
allocated
table
laid
for
us
on
arrival,
basically
you
don’t
choose
your
table
as
you
would
at
another
place.
The
menu
was
very
difficult
for
me
to
understand,
given
that
it
was
in
Chinese.
Basically
you
have
a
set
3
course
menu
plus
tea/coffee
and
the
price
you
pay
depends
on
which
main
course
you
choose.
If
you
choose
the
Wellington
you
can
opt
for
one
portion
cut
into
two
-
it’s
quite
big
so
even
a
half
is
enough
for
one
person.
You
can
take
your
alcoholic
drink
to
the
restaurant,
they
charge
80
TWD
per
glass-use.
I
brought
a
bottle
of
red
wine
and
a
mini
champagne,
they
had
the
right
glasses
for
these
thankfully.
The
food
was
tasty
but
not
fully
French
cuisine,
the
taste
was
adapted
to
the
Taiwanese
palate.
For
us,
Europeans,
some
things
were
a
bit
odd,
like
serving
buns
and
bread
without
butter
or
anything
as
one
of
the
‘courses’
but
apparently
Taiwanese
people
eat
bread
like
this.
I
also
understand
that
they
offer
to
cut
the
meat,
we
didn’t
need
that
either,
as
we
are
used
to
eat
with
knife
and
fork.
They
serve
some
crackers
on
the
table
to
start
the
dinner
with.
The
starter,
main
and
dessert
were
tasty
and
beautifully
presented.
We
had
the
Wellington
as
a
main,
which
was
very
tasty
and
the
meat
was
super
tender.
I
booked
this
dinner
as
a
birthday
dinner.
On
top
of
the
dessert
my
partner
got
a
cake
with
a
candle
and
our
waiter
sang
‘Happy
birthday’
to
him.
At
the
end
of
the
dinner
we
had
tea
or
coffee
offered.
Sam,
our
waiter,
was
super
lovely,
easy-going
and
he
provided
a
great
service.
Kudos
to
him.
All
in
all
it
was
a
great
evening.
They
take
only
cash,
so
be
prepared.
As
the
dinner
starts
relatively
early,
you
finish
early
too
(
I
think
they
close
at
9pm).
All
in
all
it
wasn’t
expensive
at
all,
but
given
that
they
have
only
one
menu,
it’s
not
a
restaurant
where
you
return
(unless
you
want
to
eat
exactly
the
same
thing).
