We took away and ate in car because of pandemic. It was super duper YUM. The egg and pork floss and everything are just perfect. Prepare for the wait, it will be last for at least an hour. You can go to other places first then come back to get your order. The lady is not as nice and put a grumpy face, maybe she just having a bad day, the food is really great anyway and you can only get in Tainan.

Delicious food and extremely warm service. despite the high demand, the lady boss is extrmeely patient and warm, chatting with us at the counter seats. due to the high volumes do expect a short waiting time for food/ table. 米糕/ glutinous rice cake was delicious, and so was the fried fish stomach and fried rice. delicious!!!

It is definitely a popular shop as most people is prepared to queue for seats n then wait for food for about 45-60mins. The food is inexpensive n it is cooked to order which explains why the long wait. Food is ok as I don't find it unique.

Everything we ordered was delicious but next time I’ll order by phone for takeaway. For dine-in we waited for an hour in the queue. The migau (米糕), braised stuff (滷味) and fried fish belly were all delicious though! Their migau does not come with pickles or braised peanuts, but the sauce is tasty enough to cover this. Overall a nice experience if you’re a small party with a relaxed schedule!

The flavors are super nostalgic and remind me of my family and grandmother's cooking~ super affordable and filled with love! Fried fatty milkfish belly is crispy and delicious, especially paired with huge and cheap bowl of sweet potato leaf porridge~ also like the dry noodles with chicken meat a whole ton!! The aunties are super friendly and sweet and chatty ♡ usually very crowded so expect a wait, but totally worth it!!

unbelievably delicious! the rice is cooked to the perfect consistency, the sauce has an incredible depth of flavor without being too salty, and the generous chunks of pork belly practically melt in your mouth. the milkfish porridge was also very flavorful and refreshing, and the huge piece of fish belly tucked inside was fresh and tender. the chives were also a fantastic addition, and i always order this dish with 油條 because i love the combination of crunch with the soup. above all, the aunties who run the shop are so kind, patient, and charismatic that eating here feels almost like having a home-cooked meal with your real family. this little spot is a must for anyone paying a visit to the tainan art museum nearby, or really anyone visiting tainan at all~

Warning : service is painfully slow during peak times so a lot of patience is required when visiting this establishment. However, every dish we had was superb and CP value was right on the sweet spot. Highly recommended 😍

Found most of the things we ordered to be quite underwhelming. Also the ratio meat/sauce in comparison was not so good. Way too little meat in the most dishes. But its super cheap so i guess i cant complain. The milk fish skin was super tasty and the ladies working here were all super friendly.

The food is excellent and worth the price. The environment is a bit hot, usually crowded on weekends.

Traditional flavors and I loved how the minced pork would melt right into your mouth, and how the pork floss adds to the texture! One of my favorite 台南米糕 locations - give this a visit when you’re in Tainan Be prepared to wait when you are going during peak hours!

Friendly aunties running this shop. :) Decent food with affordable price. Usually crowded, be prepared to wait.

The 米糕 rice was super yummy . It's similar to 卤肉饭 braised meat rice only that it comes with meat floss . White rice filled with fatty pork meats oil with gravy. Normally I dont take fatty meats but this fatty meats practically melts in your mouth . Must try Must Eat
