Super authentic Tainan flavor ~ milkfish porridge loaded with fish and flavors, and excellent with lots of the fermented spicy bean curd paste that's on the tables 😋 Must add youtiao and soak it up into the broth until tender yet chewy!! Service is fast but busy, however when they forgot our youtiao order and I inquired they served it up really fast ~~ more pricy for Taiwan breakfast street food standards (300+ for two people) but delicious!!

Busy milk fish restaurant in Tainan. More expensive than other popular/well-known milk fish restaurants in the city. Delicious, efficient. Closed on Tuesdays. Pan-fried milk fish stomach may be sold out early.

Miss the taste! I think it is a very healthy breakfast food for locals. Full of fish and rice soup, yum! Very hard to park unless you are lucky to find the spot in front of restaurant. You need to find a table first before you can order (unless you go) and the amount of food is big!

An extremely popular tourist restaurant. Fortunately, it has lots of seats where customers can sit down, order, pay, then wait a long time for their orders. We waited 40 min. for our food. Since it was breakfast for us, we only ordered fish porridges and a fried twister. The fried twister was small and for $15, really expensive. The fish porridges were pretty flavorful and delicious, included small oysters, no fish bones which made it easy to eat. Unfortunately, it was warm, not hot (probably because it took a while to get to us). For $130 a bowl, it was also expensive. The owner kept explaining why it took a long time and emphasized that the porridges were cooked using raw rice. I guess if you have time and don't mind the long wait, try it once!

Not too impressed by the porridge. The deep fried milk fish is better. The fish porridge needs a little touch by adding green cabbage

Ordered the 综合 porridge since was in dilemma what to order and the fried fish belly . Turned out much nicer then i had expected as I thought it will be salty porridge as stated on signage . The fried fish belly is a MUST order too . Fish is fresh and juicy and yummy till we ordered a 2nd one . Definite MUST try cox I'm missing it already 🤤

I arrived before 6:30 am, so the shop was not as crowded as others had described. The assorted fish porridge is the best food for those who like fish, as the portion of fish fillet is as much as the rice. It tastes fresh if you like fish, but some might find it too fishy. The fried fish fillet (called fish tummy) is also nice. However, the owner put the fish back in the microwave oven, making the fish slightly dry. I paid TWD280 for both. Insofar it's a good experience.

One of the representative local quick eat joints. Fairly legit congee with milk fish belly. The portion is quite big so would suggest people to share if want to tackle more than one local quick eat places around town.

Full of so much fish pieces in congee… and piece of milk fish belly at nt260, this breakfast will fulfill whole morning energy… but abit tasteless overall. Went around 9am, plenty space

There is no doubt that it is a healthy food. There is no fishy taste. However, the content seems a bit lacking for the price.

local comfort food which I had for breakfast. Portion can feed 2 person so I advise you can sharing and order more if it's not enough. Taste is salty and goes well with fried doughnut (youtiao)

My usual go to stall for milk fish when I am in Tainan. The fish is fresh and juicy. The fried milk fish stomach is a must have!

The place is very popular. Ordered the signature porridge which contains all kinds of fish they serve. There's literally fish in every bite, so I think it's definitely worth the price (NT$150). Need to find a seat before you can order. It might be a bit stressful for diners who are eating cuz there are many people around you waiting for you to finish eating. Take cash only.

Although it looks like a long line but actually pretty fast to get a table. The fish congee and shrimp rice was great.

Even in a hot summer day, it was delicious! Even my kids loved it as our breakfast.
