The actual "temple" portion of this place is not all that special, but nearby you can take a boat through a mangrove swamp and around a nearby river. I have never taken the boat because there's a guide with a microphone and a loudspeaker that never ever shuts up. The grassy knoll behind the temple is a nice place to sit and look over the mangrove trees, if you can stand the occasional temple announcements which are ten times louder than the boat.

Tainan is the first place to develop into a civilized society, this place can be an evidence to proof it. This temple including a short voyage on boat along a man made canal can give you a trip to enjoy the history atmosphere and the beauty of nature. Those living or visiting tainan should come here once, this place gives you a different view of point to know Taiwan.

Very relaxing tour of the river. Got to see many animals and gently ride down the river. I thought it was a very rewarding experience and there is also a beautiful temple on sight where you can read your fortune. Very neat. Would go again.

Pretty large temple but there wasn't much you could see here as the upper floors are all blocked off. There was a group of food vendors outside selling snacks, drinks, and ice cream, which was nice after the bike ride here from town.

This temple was beautiful. We were lucky and went on a day when they were having a festival. They had a lion dance and a parade.
