Walk into Chihkan Tower, a large green lawn, full of green and Zen! Refreshing and happy. The ancient building is beautiful 🤩The environment is also super clean. There are regular cleaning staff. There is a place to buy souvenirs on the right side of the park. The small stone acts as a pair of two for only 90 yuan. It is suitable for gifts and personal use. Recommend! Its predecessor was a European-style fortress built in Chihkan Province during the Hezhi period in 1653. -lâu), which was once the commercial center of the island of Taiwan, was destroyed by the Qing Dynasty, leaving only some remnants. Most of the red inlaid buildings seen today are Confucian and Taoist temples built by the Han people on top of the Dutch castle, including the Tanah Lot and Wenchang Pavilion. In 1960, nine other steles were relocated from the city of Dananmen[1], which finally became what they are today. Therefore, the so-called Chi-Inlaid Building is a mixture of the European-style Prominent Zhacheng remnants, the Sea Temple and the Wenchang Pavilion. [2] This is listed as a national monument. from Wikipedia (Original)

(Translated by Google) It is well organized. People who like historical sites, Chikan Tower is one of the must-see historical sites in Tainan. There are also Wu Temple and some food stalls nearby. ——- Introduction: It was built in 1653 by the Dutch who occupied the southern part of Taiwan at that time. It was originally called "Puluominzhe City", which is opposite to the "Relanzhe City" in Anping. The city of Geranja served as the ruling center of the Dutch governor, and the city of Prominja served as the administrative and commercial center. The building of Puluominzhe City is made up of three slightly square pedestals connected to each other. On each pedestal are built Western-style buildings. The building materials are stacked and solid as a rock. After more than 300 years, the remains of thick walls and arches can still be seen. After more than 300 years of Chikan Tower, today's scenery is red with flying eaves and towering pavilions. In the historical changes, it used to be a Western-style castle in the Dutch era, a Chinese-style pavilion in the Qing Dynasty, an army hospital in the Japanese era, and the historical relic museum so far, witnessing the vicissitudes of life under the setting sun. In the 72nd year of the Republic of China (1983), it was listed as a first-class historic site by the Ministry of the Interior. We were looking forward to a cultural tour, but a couple of major buildings were close for renovation. They still charged the same entrance fee but with only the main building to see. It’s a bit of a rip off. The only good place was the store with good air conditioning as it was a hot day when we visited.

Historical site dating 1600's. Colonial and independent periods followed by the imperial Manchurian and Japanese conquests, which ended in 1945.
