One of the older temple in Tainan. Pretty serene and not too many visitors not worshippers on a weekday. Great ambient place that gives you tranquility. It has quite a large statue of Goddess Guan Yin. A significant and unique Buddhist temple worth visiting if you are in Tainan.

A temple in the city centre of Tainan, walking from TRA Tainan station for 5 mins or riding a public bike at the TRA for 2 mins. Here, there are various kind of gods to pay respect for. I spent my freetime to visit many temples in Tainan, but this is a great temples in Tainan, I guaranteed. How do I to pay respect the god? There is a map telling you the direction and the instruction both in Mandarin and in English. If you would like to know more about the place, you can ask the staff around there, they are all local people who can understand English.

A lot of history in this place, as some stone work apparently date back to the Ching dynasty. It's such a significant temple that on 08 Mar 2019 the president herself visited for the unvailing of a plaque.

This Buddhist temple has been around for a few centuries. There are a few deities that the local people worship here, including the Elder under the Moon. Elder under the Moon is not just a matchmaker like Cupid. He also helps people ward off undesired pursuers and break off from toxic relationships. Right beside and attached to this temple is a Taoist temple where people ask the deity to have their ailments lifted. It's a very neat place if you are into cultural or historical stuff.
