"Miaoshou Palace" [a city-designated historic site] is located in Anping District, Tainan City. It was built in the 20th year of Qianlong's reign (1755). Miaoshou Palace is also known as "Zaizi Palace". It is said that the origin of the temple is because the temple grounds were wide in the past and there were many children's societies. Come here and play; Another nickname is "Hong Kong Temple", which is said to be because the temple is located next to the port pier; Regarding the origin of the temple, it is said that during the Ming and Zheng Dynasties, a royal ship carrying a statue of the god was picked up by local residents and thatched houses were built to worship it~ Then there were a pair of brothers, the elder brother was named "Miao" and the younger brother was named "Shou". They jointly donated the land where the Miao Shou Palace is located. The name of the temple came from the names of the two brothers ~ However, there is another explanation for the origin of the temple's name. It comes from the title of Emperor Baosheng, "Benefactor Haotian Medical Spirit Miaohui Zhenjun Wanshou Wuji Baosheng Emperor" ~ The temple faces south and slightly to the west, and consists of the Sanchuan Hall, the Baiting Pavilion, and the Main Hall. In order to avoid wind and sand on the seaside, the three roofs are completely connected. The Sanchuan Hall and the main hall are on hard tops, and the Baiting Pavilion is It is a rolling shed roof building.

We live in Anping. This is one of the old tribe's "Six Corner Heads" temples in Anping. It is also a third-level historic site designated by the city. The pasta shop next to it is a place we often visit. We do not recommend the fish shop next to it.

Located in the bustling area of Anping Castle in Tainan, there are very few pilgrims. I stayed there for 30 minutes and no one disturbed me. It is a quiet place amidst the bustle. It is a must-visit place in Anping District. The incense bag is colorful and you have to ask for it from the service office on the right side of the temple.

There are nine furnaces in total dedicated to Emperor Baosheng. Although the temple is small, there are many gods accompanying it. Near the tourist attractions, there are many people but few pilgrims.

Opposite the road next to the temple, there is a king boat parked on the second floor of the food stall. When you come here, remember to go up and take a look and learn about the different king boat culture in Anping.

#安平 #囝子宫社 # Miaoshou Palace Miaoshou Palace is also known as "#囝子宫". It is said that the origin of the temple is because the temple used to be so wide that many children would come here to play. Another nickname is "Hong Kong Temple", which is said to be because the temple is located next to the port pier. In addition to the Emperor Baosheng, the Miaoshou Palace is also dedicated to Zhufu Qiansui, Sufu Qiansui, Zhufu Qiansui, Qinli Heji Xiangu, Li Fuqiansui, Taibai Qiansui, Liu Yuanshuai, Zhang Tianshi, Cangfu Qiansui, Chifu Qiansui, Huangfu Qiansui, Zhusheng Empress, Fu Zhengshen... The Emperor Baoshen protects good health, and the prince of Zhufu has a royal ship. This palace has a long history, and the mythology is also very special. The original topographic and historic walls are still preserved behind the Miaoshou Palace. After paying homage, you can visit the rear and then go to the second floor opposite. Pay homage to Prince Zhu’s ship! Anping’s efficacious temple, may you be healthy and safe!
