This is a religious center around the area, and you can find some rituals that rarely be found elsewhere are still performed here. If you are interested in the temple culture in Taiwan, you have to visit this place.

A large and very ornate (as usual!) temple. Two levels with many deities and idols. There were many people during our morning visit praying or studying, including a group of school children. A very popular and active temple. Worth a visit.

I am from Vietnam. This is a great temple to visit a pray, not for sightseeing

The Jade Emperor is the highest rank among all the gods, and the Jade Palace is dedicated to the Jade Emperor.

This is a typical Tainan temple that is centrally located yet surprisingly hidden. Tourists will see how the average Taiwanese practice their faith. It's worth a visit to.

I like to see those shaman performing religious duty and all the ceremony. The Taoism tradition is still preserved very well and continue to play an important role in modern life .
