is
a
wonderful
place
to
stay
while
exploring
the
sights
and
sounds
(and
tastes!)
of
Tainan
city,
home
of
some
of
Taiwans
oldest
buildings
and
history!
The
Pi
R
2
house
has
nice
new
rooms,
with
free
wifi
and
exceptional
air
conditioning,
beds
are
spacious
and
comfortable
and
bathrooms
are
well
appointed
with
some
rooms
having
bathtubs.
All
of
the
rooms
have
themes
(we
stayed
in
the
"motoring"
themed
room)
with
fun
little
touches
to
make
them
all
feel
special.
There
is
a
common
space
with
a
water
machine
on
the
2nd
floor
and
a
convenient
elevator
that
services
all
the
floors.
The
location
of
this
hotel
is
very
convenient,
next
to
beautiful
Tainan
park
which
is
a
major
stop
for
the
88
and
99
buses
which
are
two
of
the
major
tourist
bus
lines
servicing
many
of
Tainans
historical
and
tourist
attractions
(it
was
approximately
half
an
hour
to
get
to
Anping
fort
via
bus).
The
hotel
is
also
located
a
short
distance
from
the
Tainan
rail
station,
and
is
a
very
reasonable
walk
to
the
downtown
core
(15-30
min
walk
depending
on
your
pace).
There
are
also
lots
of
options
to
eat
tasty
food
nearby,
and
the
Xiaobei
night
market
is
right
down
the
road.
The
owners
are
where
this
hotel
really
shines.
They
were
very
friendly
and
accommodating,
picking
us
up
from
the
train
station
when
we
arrived
in
Tainan
and
giving
us
a
ride
to
the
bus
stop
when
we
were
headed
out
on
our
adventures.
The
owners
go
out
of
their
way
to
make
visitors
feel
comfortable,
providing
lots
of
information
and
inviting
us
down
to
drink
tea
together
(and
share
delicious
pudding,
a
Tainan
treat!).
I
definitely
felt
welcomed
and
comfortable
staying
at
this
hotel!
The
rooms
are
very
affordable
and
if
you
are
staying
in
Tainan
I
highly
recommend
a
stop
at
the
Pi
R
2
house.
I
look
forward
to
staying
here
next
time
I
am
in
Tainan!
