The service here was amazing, and the steak was extremely delicious! I found The BBQ House in Google Maps near my hotel and thought it looked delicious. I came for an early dinner. I ordered a half Caesar salad, an 8 ounce (~225 grams) wagyu New York strip, and a side of sweet potatoes with bacon! The steak was cooked to perfection, and melted in my mouth 🤤😋. The sides were also amazing. The meal, along with a few bottles of Taiwan beer, was the perfect dinner. ☺️👍 I found out that there's a few other locations in Taiwan as well, so I'll have to try the one in Taipei soon! 😋

All I can say is that the food was fantastic. The service was brilliant. I will definitely be back to try another cut. I highly recommend it. From the staff greeting you and showing you to your table to the chef explaining the menu. And the presentation of the food was fantastic. Really enjoyed every course.

The food is good, but the amount of the wine is incredible, although the price is regular market price for a glass of wine. They could have given more than just 2 sips

Too much expensive… Just a little example, for this price, serving frozen french fries is a shame. If you want to spend money for normal food, no problem you can go…

One of the best steakhouses I have visited in a while , not only in Taiwan but also in Europe . Walk in and blindly trust the chef , he ll cut and grill the steak as it’s best eaten . Top quality meat and side dishes you would like to try them all . Worth every penny , totally recommend it to everyone .

Meet is the top, I try all kinds of beef and lamb and honestly I don’t know which one recommend coz all are perfectly cooked and served. Nice atmosphere with friends but perfect for dating and any occasions that you wanna eat meet. As an Italian pastry chef i wasn’t completely satisfy with desserts even if tiramisu, basque cheesecake and brownies are averagely nice but far from the perfection of the meet.

Amazing place. For us coming from the US, it’s nice to take a break from the awesome Tainan food. Steaks cooked to perfection; better than most of the restaurants we eat in the U.S.! Appetizer grilled squid is another perfection. The pumpkin soup with crab meat was so delicious. Great value. Take a look at their kitchen: immaculate and clean; well organized. It shows how the chefs care about their food and how they cook and manage the restaurant. I will come there again and again!

The food was amazing. Had the beef short steak and it was cooked to perfection. I haven't eaten anything that I didn't like. The service was on par with a 5 star steak house. The best experience I have had in Taiwan!

I have lived in Taiwan 6 years and had the good fortune to eat at a few really good steak restaurants but this was by far the best steak I’ve eaten on the island. I was able to choose the meat (rib eye), the size (450 grams) & the cook (30%). I do believe I heard a chorus of angels singing from the first to last bite. Outside of the steak we also had an amazing calamari salad with a vinaigrette, sweet potatoes with bacon pieces and sautéed mushrooms. I am leaving full and happy. If you are within a 3-4 hour drive of Tainan then check out The BBQ House.

Place is worthy of the 5 star review. 4 of us joined here while working out of Tainan, love this neighborhood, short walk from hotel and the steaks and atmosphere was just perfect, everyone agreed that the quality of the food and taste surpass all our expectations, possibly the best steak I've every had. Wine was also delicious. Price in my opinion was very fair. Will come back, I suggest making reservations even though we had none and were seated without any delays.

So glad we stumbled upon this restaurant. The steak I had was perfectly cooked and delicious. The salad and soup did not disappoint either. And OMG the apple pie ala mode was ‘plate licking’ good. Highly recommended.

I really had high hopes for this place... The decor is awesome, the service is awesome, everything was great... except the food. I ordered an 8oz wagyu, but it was a 6 oz cut and little bits to make the 8oz. Sir, if the steak is only 6 oz that is fine... Frying little pieces of wagyu is not the way. The steak was over cooked and, while still good, not what I had expected. My girlfriend ordered an 8 oz tenderloin, which was thick and a good cut, unfortunately it was cooked way too hot and had a 12mm hard crust on both sides... Which I usually prefer honestly but there was no flavor, no seasoning, just burnt crusty meat. The sides also were just pasta and cheese, no salt or pepper or garlic or anything resembling anything but "au natural" flavor. There is a lot of potential... Make a menu with your cuts and hand picking steaks optional, don't be afraid to throw some salt and pepper on your steaks, add a little more cheese to the pasta, and dang if your gonna stare at my girlfriend for an hour at least throw in some wine or a discount or something. Total was about $4000 NT for two. I would try again but I'll be more specific when I order next time.

Found this place on Google, had over 1400 reviews with a 4.9 rating! Thought it would be worth a try. We ordered the NY steak and Filet Mignon (they recommended the NY Stk cooked to Medium and the Filet Mignon Medium Rare). Are sides were a mushroom soup and fries. This young gentleman named Kevin helped us with our order and he did a wonderful job in serving us. The food was very good, my wife and I loved it. We will definitely return when we are in Tainan again.

This place is amazing!! The Chef and waitress were super friendly and took their time to explain the menu and meat cuts. The New York strip steak is one of the best I’ve tasted. Definitely worth the price. If you want to try some of the best steak in Tainan you definitely need to visit this restaurant.
