Becoming a nice place for relaxing and having fun with friends and families. During past few years Tainan government spend time and money to clean and offers a bigger and safe place for families. Parking lots, garbage cans, restrooms and several tap water for washing feet, benches lights , palm trees, walking and biking path...etc. Just a reminder for visitors place ... Don't litters and take care of the environment. Thanks! ❤️

One of the most beautiful beaches here in Taiwan. There aren't a lot of people here on weekdays, but there are often musical performances and food stalls on weekends and holidays.

Gold Coast starts from Anping harbor and ends at Shin Da harbor. At the side of Anping, Gold Coast shares the warm golden sun along with a long sand beach, people playing wave, walking on sand, running with kites. Passing a 500 meter beach, several coastal parks connect each other along the coast.

The only golden in this place is my balls. I really brought golden ping-pongs you've got to trust me! 😳 Here's photo of me in the toilet. Clean and big enough to drop some.

They’ve spent a lot of money developing this area over the past few years, and there are some nice facilities like foot washing areas now. But unfortunately the beach itself is still completely covered in shards of broken plastic. The farther away you get from these facilities, the less littered it becomes, so there’s still some decent stretches of beach to be found here. It’s just a shame that the developed areas are so filthy.

Really nice spot to picnic/catch the sunset. Too bad about the trash and the abandoned hotel.

The perfect beach in taiwan, far better than most of them

I prefer this beach over Anping beach because to reach Anping beach you have to drive through Anping. Which is near impossible on weekends (too many tourists and constant traffic jams).

Great night views and long boardwalk. If you are staying in the city of tainan it may be a ride out about 20 minutes. However nice place to enjoy the view and it's peaceful at night

Great for watching sunset. Good for surfing. Black sand, not really suitable for swimming

Nice place to take the kids and relax. There's a fair distance between the shore and the elevated sidewalk. The restrooms are right on the other side. It's less crowded than other places in Tainan and there's a designated parking. There's only one place to get food, but it was quite empty, so we assumed the food was not that good. Don't go during the rainy season, since the beach might get a lot of debris (styrofoam, dead leaves and branches). Overall a nice place.

This place is in Tainan.. It's a nice place to spend your afternoon, to watch the sunset and walk on the sea side. Have a lot of parking space, and you can also use the Comfort Room for free..
