I have been to a few markets in and around Taipei. I like this one. Not as many people on scooters trying to drive through the crowds. And seemed a better flow up and down. A good variety of many foods that are more than just the usual Taiwanese food you get. Thai and Vietnamese food for a nice change. Plenty of side streets which again offer differing foods. The woman who is at the beginning (Sanchong bridge end), maybe one or two stands in, usually the right hand side, makes baked pastry filled with meat deliciousness. I don't know what they are called, but similar in appearance to the Pepper cakes you can buy downtown in Taipei City, without the pepper. Given I come from NZ and enjoy a mince or steak pie, this is the closest I have found so far. There is a Vietnamese/Thai restaurant half way up, going up on right hand side street (the are not listed on Google), the food is very good.

Decent food, however it is a secret road that many scooters use to cut through traffic. Beep beep!

Great food. You get a variety of vendors: Both sit down and takeaway options. It's not over crowded because it is quite local.

Very interesting night market. Located on a fairly long road with lots of stalls. Many food stalls, clothes, household items and accessories. Some of the food is very interesting and rarely found at other night markets. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to find a trash can here.

Not sure if the rain affects the market but it was very sad and empty at 630 on a Wednesday. Maybe 20 stalls open, mostly desserts.

I would say it’s more visited by the locals as I barely saw tourists there. Conveniently located near the exit of 台北橋 station along the Orange line. Good mix of food and clothes store along the long street. Be spoilt for choices. Prices felt slightly cheaper than the popular night markets.

Very near to train station, I like that this night market layout is simply just one long stretch with lots of delicious food and other stuffs. Overall not as exciting as Ximending / Shilin but still worth a visit.

Local market away from tourists, still quite large with everything you expect from Taiwanese night market

A very long night market with different kinds of food to choose. The only thing is hard to find public restroom... no signs to show where to find it.

Lots of food choices and can have a very happy tummy under 300 NT$ (LESS THAN 10$) with the stinky tofu and large intestine thin noodle + grilled chicken (with wasabi spices) + boneless pork chop dices + ice black tea with long string jelly.

Night market with lots of stores with wares for sale however the food options are more limited compared to other night markets. Good place to visit in the evening when in the Sanchong area

Really enjoyed this market! Has a large number of really good food options at reasonable prices. The shops along this market are also great with good prices and selection. It is busy but not so much that it be over unreasonably crowded like some other night markets in the city. This became one of our favorite markets while visiting Taiwan.

The food options are so-so, a lot of claw machines & some shopping. Great that it closes at midnight & it’s near the train station but I wouldn’t visit again unless i’m close by.

Very nice night market, suitable for dinner, a lot of foods, including some vegetarian stall. Fried mushrooms, fried potatoes stick very delicious. Selling clothes and shoes for kids , made in Taiwan. Value for money. A lot teenagers and middle age clothing as well. Price reasonable, this sanhe market better than shi lin, all seller are friendly. Got games and toys shop . Groceries shop as well. Who has been visit those famous night market should try here. Very Good 👍 night market. You would never regret. I spent 3 hours here. Bought a lot clothes, socks, foods.

Located at the central of San Chong. Easy to achieve by bus or Taipei bridge MRT station. Variety product, Food and Game or Massage are located at the same place.

High traffic of speeding motorbikes is quite disturbing. Would prefer other night market instead.

it is small night market near our hotel, they were small shops and small stalls of food...not too vary but still good for strolling in the evening . We look for taiwanese snow ice here, but couldn't find any..except for taiwanese peanuts ice and bubble teas ...

A very local night market, hardly any outsiders or tourist. Not trash friendly or restroom friendly. Avoid or bring your own trash bad.

I checked this place out because it was close to my hostel and I was hungry. It’s small but I couldn’t find anything I like to eat or anything to buy. It a quick walk down the Sanhe Night Market. Stay close to the side because there are bikes driving through space and crowds!

The food is cheap and the selling products are cheap(cloths and phone accessories) too, but wit good quality. I was really enjoy walking around there since it is not very crowded, no pushing or rushing but holding your food, slowly enjoying it, seeing all kind of variety of food, it is really a nice experience. I think this market is under rated.

Disappointing. It's quite a large market, but not much of food stands. Most of the stands are silly gambling games and clothing/ miscellaneous shops. Some part of the walkway are pretty narrow, sometimes the crowds barley moves. A lot of people don't wear mask there, as well as those who run the shops.
