Beautiful place with scenic views. Just a quick bus ride from Jiufen Old Street. Do not follow Google Maps suggestion of walking 17 minutes. There are a few buses that will take you directly there like 856. The road does not have a place for walking and it's quite dangerous for pedestrians. You can also get a taxi from Jiufen Old Street that will wait and take you back.

The view of the waterfall and the green beautiful mountain is nice. Even though its a small falls the view were amazing. The transportation has a long time difference so patience is needed. But transport fee is at very low cost from ruifang station.

Not really a spectacular sight. It is a relatively small waterfall with a golden touch by the sentiment the water transports.

A very beautiful waterfall. One of the must go place when you travel to Taiwan. You can see the beauty of the natural. A nice place for photo taking.

It's good, if you visit golden waterfall you should come and visit the tea pot mountain which is just a kilometers ahead.

Beautiful waterfall with copper dissolution can be seen on the rocks that makes the waterfall looks brownish. Beware and not to miss the last bus at 5.30PM. The view should be nicer in sunny day I guess.

On the road to Jiufen you will come across many little photo stops this stream running down the mountain over the reddish brown rocks offer unique opportunity to take some wonderful photos. The area around the waterfalls also full off small little coffeeshops to take a break.

Natural attraction near Jiufen, right by the mountains highway? road. Not recommend if you don't have a car or during rain. ---walking on the mountain side road is dangerous, public transport bus does not come on time. There are some taxi if you are lucky enough. Big rain big wind beware of falling rocks. Overall, it is a good experience.

This fall is near the famous gold mine in northern Taiwan so the reddish brown color fall is called golden fall!

Public transportation here is fairly easy, but be aware this is only a view point, no hike or exploration. I would not recommend getting off here if traveling by bus, as it will take a long time to connect anywhere else.

Quick and easy stop on the way to Juifen, there's a small parking area and easy access to the waterfall next to the road. Snapped a few photos and we were on our way. We were there on a rainy day so the falls weren't showing as well as they could, but they are beautiful and nice to see.

A sweet surprise while in this part of Taiwan, the Golden Waterfall is where you can have a short stop to take photos of the beaming gold that is the attraction itself. There are no activities to do aside from picture-taking.

Nice waterfall. Awesome views. Worth it on a tour but not sure I would have come here if it weren't for the tour.

Nice view, but when I was here, water are so few which make scenery are not beauty as it should be. Anyway itโ€™s the place , you may have beauty picture.

Waterfall by the roadside, more interesting because of its background story. It is called Golden Waterfall because the water has a tint of orange after sleeping through areas with high mineral content. The water is being carried onto the sea and caused a yellow tint in the sea too, resulting in the Yin Yang Sea.

It is very dry during the summer and even in September you can barely see water, very underwhelming. Also it's very difficult to get there by foot. If you still want to visit take a bus.

โ€œItโ€™s okay, but not the destinationโ€ Check out this place when you visit ไนๅˆ†, as this is not a waterfall that is the destination. But more of a checklist item since youโ€™re here anyways. Getting here is pretty convenient with buses and taxi options. Good picture spots but thatโ€™s about it. Kids may hate it though, cause itโ€™s just a picture spot.

that's one of epic spots on my private car tours around greater Taipei area. it's adjacent to Golden Museum which used to be Gold Mining Factory during Japanese rule in Taiwan.

One of the places that is included in your day tours (klook being one of the companies u can book from), the golden waterfall got its name from the orange-golden hue due to its past of iron ore mining (mining facilities are now abandoned). Very beautiful and pretty in its own, definitely a must visit if you are passing by jiufen/shifen/jinguashi. The mountainous roads make driving up a challenge but it is well managed by the tour bus drivers.

This was a beautiful place to visit! The color is caused from the iron in the mountain. There is a bus that can drop you off right by it!

Its a smaller scale waterfall compared to others in the country however whats different from this is that this area was used for mining gold. Put this up as a secondary stop if you're heading over to Jiufen.

A nice waterfall with some good eating places surrounding it with views from many of the eateries.

A great natural classroom for geology. The Golden Waterfall is made with mines and metals underneath combining with the water and rust. The waterfall may look even more magnificent after it rains. Easy roadside parking with public parking space. Good to bring kids to learn the magic of geology and mother nature.

Not a big waterfall, but if you are near by you can definitely check this place. We walk here from our accommodation and that was bit challenging, but by car, it is a piece of cake. The area is pretty steep so if you want to walk here, be prepare, it is quite hard.

I'm on a Klook One Day Tour that originates from Taipei MRT Station. The weather is around 19 Celsius but drizzling. Our third stop is the Golden Waterfall Formation.

Golden waterfall named after golder color stones in the waterfall. It falls in sea that create muddy color in sea that looked amazing. Love this place.

We had a quick unplanned stop here to get quick photos of the falls. The falls itself was wide but not very large. There were quite a lot of people even though it was drizzling, our minivan had to circle a few times to get parking and we had to walk up a bit. Interesting falls but wasn't spectacular.

Small waterfalls coming from the mountain top. The water flows through a โ€œgoldenโ€ river down to the yin-yang sea.

There are many seeing signs near by. Worth coming for a whole day or even 2 days.
