Magnificent view of the steep, rocky coastline of the Northeastern part of Taiwan. The trail was relatively flat and easy to tread on.

Perfect climbing area, with lot of sport and traditional routes, or just for small hike around perfect rock formations. Also good for diving, or fishing.

A very compact, but stunning site to see amazing cliffs and colorful ocean. Best times to visit would be during high summer (to avoid the rain and monsoon winds from the north in winter). A short walkway from the car park (behind a temple) to the viewing platform overlooking the cliffs takes only 15 min. Longdong is also popular for rock climbing, snorkelling, and photography. If you are doing any of them, visit the cape from it’s north end (striding over rocks behind Hemei Elementary School).

Nice scuba diving in the bay, and easy to borrow the diving equipment

A must visit if you're in the Taipei area. This park is named "Dragon Hole" after the shape of the bay. It is a long walk with a beautiful view the entire time. If you bring proper equipment, you can also safely hike down to the water, where you will find people fishing and climbing the cliffside. During the summer months, the tide is much higher so visitors are warned that they could be caught off guard by huge waves and swept into the ocean. This is a peaceful and relaxing walk that everyone should experience.

Amazing view, incredible landscapes ! But it's an easy trail, not long. Maybe it's better to preview to do another thing around after this trail. The advantage is it's accessible for everyone.
