    The design concept of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Dongbei City in Luodong came from the Italian Father Xie. It was funded by the Catholic Spiritual Healers Association and was built on December 26, 1957 AD. It was built on September 28, 1958 AD. Completed. It is currently registered as a county-designated historic site by the Yilan County Government.

    It’s a church with a long history. I happened to meet the volunteer grandma who kindly explained the history here. It’s a peaceful and comfortable place.
