Very nice trail, in stunning seashore and hills landscapes. It's possible to make a full loop and the trail is all paved all the way. Because it's a short walk, it's perfect for families with kids or the elderly. On the opposite, if you are a seasoned hiker, it's definitely too short. The loop is just 2.5 to 3 km. It can be done in one hour, and at most 2 hours if you keep stopping for pictures and rest. And if you plan to extend it by going to the lighthouse, check it because it was closed end 2021.

I loved the walk. It's around 45 minutes if you go slowly but it worth every step. You can just turn the corner and see a totally new and amazing view. The path is quite comfy to walk, maybe if you are afraid of spiders pay attention because there are many on the mountain side, just next to the walking zone. It worth to go until the furthest point where, if at the right time and with the nice weather you can see an amazing sunset. Unforgettable experience.

Amazing views every steps away! You are walking in a ridge line and seeing oceans on both sides. Trail is laid with nice big rocks and small portion with wood. It gets hot since there is no shade anywhere. But the views are one of the best in Taiwan. 2k trail. Super easy walk.

Excellent hiking trail where you can get your exercise AND experience breath taking views!!! Very unique trails and picture opportunities everywhere you turn. The pictures from the camera really don't do this scenic Vista any justice where you can get a 360 degree view of lush mountains and the oceanside

My second time walking around the trail, smiling even though tiring to walk up and down the stairs of the mountain but it is mamazingly relaxing. Clean head and breath taking view, you already got exercise yet you also take photos to remember that i can can say oh i’ve been with these place and i can surely recommend to take a walk and visit these place guaranteed you’ll be amaze too like i do and my friend’s. It’s easy to get there by the way, we only commute (diy) from ruifang station we took the bus with bus number 856 and told the bus driver to stop at bitoujiao. Mostly elderly take a hike up there and there is a short cut going down ther trail just follow those flock of elderly walking by the trail.

This trail is a very beautiful walk a little steep but well worth the try. They are great views from the top of the mountain. There is a restaurant that you can only get to by walking there. It is an old army bunker the coffee is not bad and the meals are quite well pressed priced. The Walk of the mountain is quite steep and slippery so be careful on a rainy day. You can walk in a circular fashion starting at the parking lot next to the tunnel.

Great!! Trail is not that difficult, suited for beginners due to multipiple rest cabins on top (probably 3-4..) and nature lovers. Accessible from train station... Just a quick bus ride from the starting point. :) Just bring some water.. snacks and enjoy the view :)

Very scenic walk. Highly recommended. But the track can become very crowded when the tourist buses arrive.

Absolutely one of the best hiking trail in Northern Taipei. Well hidden from tourists, the trail is very easy and short (only 2km) but you will have the best view of the ocean. It will take quite a long time if getting here by public transport, however it worths the effort.

An absolute must see place if you love nature. Super scenic hike. Check weather beforehand to ensure good views. There are multiple viewpoints. Warning: A LOT of stairs, be mindful of your own physical ability. If you start from the school and walk through to the end, there will be a small town on the other side where you can rest and eat some good local seafood👍 We spent a little over an hour but because we stopped a lot to take pictures

This was a nice hike and had a lot of nice views and scenic points to stop at. We started on the elementary school side of the trail and unfortunately found out the last portion of the trail was closed on the port side so we had to double back the way we came. You do start going up and down a lot of stairs near the light hours and cafe area. I did take a star away because the trail did not loop all the way. We didn’t notice a sign stating the trail was closed and may have missed it. But other than that, it was a nice short hike with a lot of nice view points.

I've been here twice and stil one of my favorite places to hike. You can hike up to the top for 30 minutes or an hour.

A nice trail for families to take a walk in weekends and appreciate the scenic view in the northern Taiwan. The terrain here is special. However, some stairs here are a little bit steep. Children and elders should pay attention not to get injured.

succesfully been there done that. Nice view, but quite sunny, should wear sunscreen and start after 3pm. Will take around 45'- 1hr with medium speed and some break with photo taking. Reco to read online to know how to get there by bus (if you are solo traveller)

Surely one of the best trails I’ve done in Taiwan. Getting here could be a little challenging but it’s all worth it. It’s great for all fitness levels and family with kids. Undoubtably the best hiking trails along the northern coastline. The entire loop is only 2 km which could be done within 2 hours given the time for pictures in between. Instagram: travelthroughme

One of the most beautiful spots I've been to in all of Taiwan. From the harbor, it's about 15 minutes to the top, mostly up stairs. The trail offers stunning views of the coastline, especially on a clear day. Definitely worth a trip if you're in the area!

👍🏻Recommended 📷The scenery along the trail is beautiful, and parking is difficult to find. The overall itinerary can be planned for 3-5 hours 🦋Many of butterfly show up in March

Scenic route along seashore of north east side of the island. It is pity that the trail to the Bi Toe Chou lighthouse is closed due to the big Rock on the trail.
