Great service and professional assistance with DIY project, with a wide selection of gems to choose from. Their equipment are child safe and very easy to use. I specifically wanted a Hualien iron Jade native to the Taroko Gorge with high transparency so it gives off plenty of green light when shone through, and this workshop was able to get this right! I'm impressed with how they listened to my requirements and placed great attention and effort to help me complete the project I had envisioned. The engineer and I had a great time talking about the possibility of applying machine laser cutting to gems in the future. Will recommend to friends and family.

A fun and inexpensive DIY activity for all ages! You can choose from various types of local stone to shape. You can also choose a pre-shaped piece to work with or design your own. The shopkeepers are very professional and knowledgeable too.

A nice place to hang~ And experience how to make jade products!

You choose a piece of jade amongst a selection first. It is about thumb-sized, suitable for a necklace. Then you smoothen it on a spinning wheel with water. The wheel is smooth. Instructions were a bit brief. The staff then helps you touch up, sandpaper the jade, drill a hole and insert a string. The end product is quite pretty but there's very little diy element here since the staff handle all the steps after the first smoothening

Awesome destination for tourism , with detailed introduction and training process, we did have good time there and got the souvenir in the end, a handmade jade pendant.

Would Recommended at 100%, Very cool experience. You can carve your own stone in the shape you want. Of course masters are there to help you throughout the entire making of your stone. The staff don’t speak English but know how to use traduction tools and they are very kind and helpful. 400 NTD for the stone itself and if you want a bracelet with it it’s 50 NTD more

We chanced upon a Jade DIY Workshop, which proved to be good interactive fun. We got to choose our own jade piece and had hands-on experience in grinding and polishing our jade piece, under the guidance of the staff. Once done, the staff helped to string the jade to make a beautiful necklace. The staff were very friendly and helpful at the workshop. It cost about NT400 (SGD 17) for one piece of jade item. It's a unique accomplishment to be involved in the whole process, from handpicking the raw jade to wearing the final polished gem. And it offered a good parent-child bonding experience too!

We had a great time stopping at this DIY place! The owners are professional, knowledgeable and nice. The center jade piece is incredible. It is a museum grade display. So fun! Highly recommend a stop here in Haulien.

My partner and I came here yesterday while we are travelling the east. The owners are very lovely people we ended up with a stunning necklace at the end of our fun experience. We would recommend this to anyone especially if you have a love for stones.

Excellent jude manufacturing in Taiwan!

We found our own jade by the river and brought it here. The master helped with polishing and cutting. There's also DIY lessons but because we were short on time they thankfully had these services where we can drop off and return. (it is charged per piece ranging from 250-500+twd) we were told which were salvageable vs which weren't.
