Must-Visit for every bicycle enthusiast. The museum shows how important bikes are for us nowadays and especially for Taiwan. We enjoyed the tour very much. We gathered many details. Audioguide is 100 元 and available in English or Chinese. You can easily spend up to 3 hours here. The best thing is the VR Bike race against your friends.

Such beautiful architecture. Absolutely stunning! It's the headquarters of the world famous bicycles manufacturer Giant. It also serves as a museum for the technology and art of bicycles. Highly recommended if you are into cycling lifestyle. One of the best museums in Taichung.

(Translated by Google) The last stop of the Taichung itinerary came to the giant group headquarters in Zhongke, which is quite sci-fi style. It is as dazzling as the home of the iron man, and it is also a new IG check-in point. The Bicycle Cultural Discovery Hall on the side has 3 floors. Admission is charged. The general fare is 400 yuan (so there is no waste of money). There is a souvenir hall on the 2nd floor. There are cafes and antique cars on the 3rd floor. The interior design is streamlined and somewhat Similar to the Taichung Opera House, the texture of the blue and white tone is excellent, both inside and outside are good places for shooting.

Saw their ad and decided to go for a visit. For the entry fee of $400 it really wasn’t worth it and I felt they really could have done a lot more for such a large global brand. No photography permitted so not a lot to show but I would describe the experience as clean and well-intentioned but lacking in immersion and design elements. A personal benchmark of excellent museum design is one that provides for a captivating experience even without one’s prior interest in the field - which in my judgement was lacking. Commendable are the architecture itself, which was well-built, friendly and informative staff, and their cafe on the 3rd floor which was pleasant and reasonably priced. Suggestions/ideas to Giant - more details about the company’s founder, founding history, manufacturing processes. Get the visitor to have more emotional connection with the brand behind all the products we see and use.

(Translated by Google) Taking photos in the exhibition hall is forbidden to let people be more involved in the delicate arrangements of the exhibition. The guided tour can indeed understand the details, but it is also wonderful to visit by yourself. The VR reality experience of the road rider riding state is even more interesting and multiplayer competitions. 1 Click to enter and play/walk to 4 o'clock, and the rewards are full. The entrance fee for such a dedicated exhibition is really not expensive!

(Translated by Google) The whole museum is streamlined, and it looks very beautiful. The full ticket is 400 yuan, you can make an appointment online or walk in first, and you will have a 10% discount for appointments online Some areas in the museum cannot be filmed or recorded I happened to be able to participate in the tour today, thanks to the instructor for the detailed explanation In addition, the cafe on the 3rd floor is very beautiful and the food is also very good If you have time, you might as well take a seat I probably spent more than four hours here Generally, you may budget for half a day to visit here more than enough time (Original) 整個館都是流線型的,看着已經覺得很漂亮 全票400元,可以先在網路上預約或Walk in,網路上預約會有九折優惠 館內部分地方不可拍攝或錄影 今天剛好能參與到導覽,感謝講解員很詳細的講解 另外3樓的咖啡廳地方很漂亮,食物也很好 有時間的話不妨去坐坐 我大概花了四個多小時在這裏 一般可能預算半天在這邊遊覽的時間比較充足

(Translated by Google) A comfortable space that is exquisite and delicate and allows everyone to understand the bicycle world through multiple ways. The guide is careful and lively and the space is spacious and it is very comfortable to visit. Maybe because there are not many people who know about it not long after the establishment, there are not many people who visit, so the overall visit process is very quality. There are also VR real-world self-driving cars for everyone to experience the feeling of riding. I believe people who are interested in bicycles will feel fully loaded when they come here.

(Translated by Google) Education is fun. Although there is a picture area for children to color, it is more suitable for teenagers above elementary school. There are not many collections, but the display is exquisite, and there are also interactive areas such as VR. It is an exploration hall rather than a museum. The gift area is distinctive and exquisite.

Upon completion of Tour de Taiwan round island trip organised by GIANT Adventure, I had some free time and decided to explore the Cycling Culture Museum at GIANT Group HQ, Taichung. The exhibits provided insights into the development of bicycle through the decades, cycling friendly cities and the formation of A-Team spearheaded by GIANT and Merida. The VR simulation of racing, sprinting and being a domestique is certainly entertaining and instill a sense of competition amongst your friends. Besides road bikes, you can also have a go on cross country (XC) simulation. There's also a corner for kids to create a bike through the use of available rubber stamps on the post card. Overall, a fun and entertaining place for all avid cyclists. Highly recommended!

The best Museum that I've ever been to! The have staffs who can speak English. The museum is complete with long an interesting history of bicycles, but it's not boring at all, because they also have gift shop, downhill simulation, & most importantly they have a VR RACING SIMULATION installed 😍 😍 All in all it was a perfect & amazing experience for me to be able to know Giant as a Taiwanese company and bicycle as a whole. Love it!

Beautiful building with a fascinating overview of cycling history, particularly in Taiwan. As may be expected with a museum at the Giant HQ, later history focuses on Giant bicycles but then Giant is also an important part of Taiwan’s later bicycle story. The story of World Bicycle Relief and the Buffalo bicycle is also told - an important bike and human story, though nothing to do with Giant bikes. The science of cycling is a good overview of the technological advances with bicycles. As with all the displays, there is a lot of space and simplicity to the presentation. Display signs are all bilingual in Chinese and English.

(Translated by Google) The exterior design is novel, avant-garde and unique, the internal bicycle history and culture, the guide is professional, and some interactive designs are very interesting and worth visiting. It's just that the fare is slightly higher and not close to migrant workers (Original)

The museum is a real treat for cyclist, kids and families! The architecture of the building is beautiful, and the exhibits are well thought-out and interactive. We spent a lovely afternoon exploring the museum and had a nice meal at the café on 3rd floor. The kids loved the bottle DIY workshop, and us parents had a lot of fun trying out the VR experiences. Would definitely recommend a visit if you’re in the area!

A very interesting museum sharing the history and the sciences aspect of a bicycle. We are glad to be here and had a good lunch too at the level 3 cafe. The staff at counter and level 2 is very helpful and friendly.

Very interactive exhibition with various games and activities. Really impressive cycling museum covering science behind bicycles, bike races, and more. I would recommend the guided tour for an even better experience!

No photos inside the museum, but a must visit for bike enthusiasts. You learn the history of bikes from no pedals & no gears to today. Be sure to try the VR competition with your friends.

3 star because the value simply wasn’t there…. As many others have said in their review, the building is well designed and looks pretty and all of the exhibits are of some interest (bicycle history told through the lens of Giant the bike builder) but for 400NT the value simply wasn’t there. Many of the exhibits simply feel like an ad for Giant. Still, there are parts which are free so if you’re in the area then it might be worth a quick detour to check out the non ticketed portions and the architecture.

Probably the most interesting and enjoyable educational destination in Taiwan. Spent 2 solid hours there and only covered 2 floor. Plenty of great interactive displays and even a VR cycle race!

(Translated by Google) The whole venue is very beautiful and easy to shoot (the exhibition area is only open for photography!), the staff is very enthusiastic to introduce all kinds of bicycles, whether it is interactive experience or exhibition movement, it is very rewarding after a visit. Now there is a 10% discount for online reservations, which is really recommended. Giant Taiwan's Light is well-deserved!
