Instead of stuck in a crowded dorm, you have a quiet and clean hotel room with stunning view of the river. Very good service and the host is super helpful. Price is as affordable as other homestays for a room for two. But you have the pleasure and services of a real hotel.

New hotel with good shower, electricity, wifi and friendly staff. Seams like the best option for travelers who want to relax because the hotel is right on the river.

We loved our stay here!! The owner is super kind (and funny) and goes out of his way to make you feel at home. The balcony overlooking the river is world class— you could do nothing but sit there and be happy. Also the breakfast is amazing and the rooms are comfortable and clean! Don’t hesitate to book here, look no further. ;)

This is the best place you can stay in Khorog- the rooms are fantastic, the owner is friendly and funny in a dry Russian sort of way, and the view off of the balcony is unbeatable. A constant breeze makes it comfortable most times of day, just don't drop anything over the side or it's gone forever. The wifi is good enough to check messages and such, but don't expect to watch HD videos all night. Also the breakfast is incredible.

Loved our stay here so much!! What a lovely hotel on the banks of the river. Kind and accommodating manager/owner who let us check in very early. Incredibly clean and a delicious breakfast is included!!! Really recommend staying here while in Khorog. Can’t say enough good things.

The location is very peaceful, having breakfast on the balcony by the river is lovely. It is also well located, close to town center and central park. The owner is really nice, he speaks good english and helped us in any way he could. We enjoyed good chats together in the evening smoking Toscanelli. The room was clean and the breakfast was very good too.

Stunning location and super helpful owners! Very good food and such a great place to have a drink over the water! Really felt like home after a day or so. (Addition: the second time I stayed here I brought a stomach bug with me out of the mountains. I can’t begin to describe how kind and helpful the owners were while I had a couple of uncomfortable days. They really are wonderful people!)

Temur is a wonderful host, very helpful and cooks a great omelette for breakfast! Zarya is a small, peaceful hotel on the river (only a short walk from the busy Main Street) and a perfect place to rejuvenate after a long day of driving. Very clean and modern facilities and the beds are really comfortable (singles available in the rooms I saw).

Perched over the fast flowing Gunt River, this hotel provides all amenities. Flushing toilets and good pressure showers, nice balcony(shared) with great views. The first fresh cooked breakfast, omelette and hot fresh bread with coffee. If you come to Khorog stay at Zarya.

I think it is the best in Khorog for it's price. Recommend it if you are looking for affordable and clean place.

Teymor played a great host to our visit to Khorog. The place is at the tail end of town but it's a short walk to town. The room is a little small but it was comfortable. Water pressure was great, toilet was clean and we loved the dining area next to the river. A must visit !

Very clean hotel with friendly and very supportive staff. After our tour around the Pamir we were delighted to find a clean place with water pressure, proper mattresses. The complimentary tea with apricot jam was delicious, the laundry service helped to increase the amount available clothing 😄 All in all a recommendation to stay in, the slightly higher price totally worth it from my perspective. Therefore five stars - it relates to the Pamir area.
