This store has two floors. The staff was very attentive and checked on us often. The prices are decent, at a little over 500 yen for a cup of coffee. The coffee had a nice deep flavor. I also ordered the french toast and a honey toast. Both were excellent. This is a smoking facility, so if you don't smoke, be prepared to inhale a lot of it. The decorations are also a nice touch to this cafe.

The cafe was petite and cute, had nice selections of coffee beans but the coffees served were too watery for our likings. And didn’t know people can smoke indoors, so my mom wasn’t a big fan of it.

Average coffee shop, maybe we came on a bad day? Coffee tastes a bit like filter coffee and the staff were very cold. We were asked to wait for a seat but when we were finally invited in there were several seats downstairs but we got put into a corner upstairs. Also, it’s minimum one drink per person which I think is unfair considering we were ordering food as well.

Nice small yet cozy cafe nearby Shinsaibashi area. The quality they used for their coffee are excellent. The owners are friendly and help recommending for the best choice of drinks. The price is also reasonable given the cafe located in city center.

Egg sandwich was fine, we don’t like the pancakes and pudding’s texture. The coffee was very sour and bitter. Looong wait for everything be served

Cute hip coffee shop. The coffee was nice and I loooove thick Japanese bread so I enjoyed the toast with butter and jam (nothing special, just yummy). It took 20-30 min for the coffee and toast to arrive from the time I placed an order. I wasn’t in a rush so it was fine but it was quite a long wait for coffee.

A comfortable family run coffee shop, just like the coffee shops I read in mangas. They are quite deliberate so your order does not come very quickly, I waited about 15 minutes. But that's fine for me, I was already exhausted from walking around in Dotonburi so the slower the better. Ordered their blend coffee, as described it's medium bitter and sour. A nice daily coffee in my opinion. I also ordered the french toast. Note, you can add 200yen to add ice cream to the french toast. It was delicious, sweet chewy and comforting.

Oldschool Café in a side street of Dotonbori. There is a variety of different single origin coffees available, as well as a range of drinks. Their pudding is very nice and seems to be their speciality.

Wonderful coffee with ratings for bitter and sour flavours on the menu for the different beans. Great if you appreciate coffee as an art, not for those in a rush!

A really old skool place, small and you can tell the owner is really proud of his shop and coffee. Quite a lot of coffee bean choices and do come by for coffee. Pudding was alright but that wasn't the main feature.

Highly highly recommend this cafe! Arabiya sandwiches are absolutely delicious - i loved it so much i felt like ordering a second serve! Had it with Brazil coffee pour over. My dining companion commented that the French Toast is the best he has ever had! We were 2 pax at 2pm on a Saturday and were seated immediately at the counter seats on 1F. English menu available. Really liked the old school vibe of this cafe too!

Taste good but a bit expensive. The coffee jelly seems special but can’t taste much of the coffee.

Eclectic café. Decent variety of coffee available. No coffee machine here. Not your typical café, quiet and cosy. Worth a try. I enjoyed myself.

A cozy rustic Shōwa style kissaten run by a family (I was handed a menu by their young son). They offer a range of beans that will suit any taste, and are expertly brewed. My house blend was a mild dark roast, perfect for a morning cup of joe. Dark and bitter, it has hints of grape and a woodsy finish. I am guessing it's a blend of Brazilian and Sumatran coffee ☕👌 They offer an English menu. Smoking is allowed, so keep that in mind.

Typical super dark roast “Darth Vader” coffee. If that’s you’re thing, great. It’s brewed and served too hot. More of a cake and coffee place than what I was looking for. They make a good buttery ham and egg sandwich coated with ketchup...🤷🏻‍♂️

We have found our go to place for coffee. It is served hot and nice and strong. Just the way I like. The french toast was amazing and the staff very friendly. I wish I found this place sooner

👍👍 Go to the basement floor which has all kinds of food stalls and specialty stores. Go there an hour before closing and most of the packaged food items will be discounted like 30% or Y300 off. It’s great deal for budget travel. They also have very good yogurt drinks and other bakery items.

👍👍 Had to wait ~15 min to enter at 10am on a Friday. The beef curry rice was ok. The pancake was nothing special, borderline disappointing. The cafe au lait was decent though. The star of the show was the french toast. It has this melt in your mouth sensation which was quite unique. Felt like eating...
