I enjoyed eating at the location in Motomachi that I wanted to try the original main location. The place was fantastic and had a really relaxed atmosphere. The staff were great and the breakfast set I got was amazing. It was neat to see a take away style for coffee. Very nice location. After eating here I can see how it has been able to expand successfully in the area.

Delicious pastries, nice selection of drinks, and a charming interior/exterior that you won't often find in Japan. They do sell out of the best desserts quickly, though, so I recommend calling ahead to reserve your favorite.

Very aesthetic exterior and interior, quite posh. Even the tea cups, glasses, napkins are custom designed giving a very upclass vibe. Large smoking section, smaller non smoking section. Staff in very proper uniform. Really an English tea house vibe. Great coffee, lot of options, also great brunch options. On the downside slightly pricey, but totally worth it for the aesthetic, taste and the whole experience.

Nishimura coffee is an establishment that holds the Kobe coffee scene. This 5 story structure is on one of the main roads in the Kitanocho region of Kobe. The interior is beautiful and always full. They offer a full menu of food , drinks and desserts. The coffee quality is very good but it’s very dark roasted reminiscent of old Japanese style coffee joints. To note they have a few specials like the cafe viennois (coffee with whip cream) and their nut coffee where they add peanut butter. The pizza toast and soft cream are both delicious.

A fabulous places to sit and unwind. The coffee shop was built in the 40s and still retains a lot of its original features which the staff will let you take pictures of. It is set over several floors each with their own unique design and style The coffee itself is really good if a little expensive - however you are paying more for the experience of sitting in the shop.

Lovely retro cafe, part of a local chain, serving quality food and drink. Coffee is the focus and the menu offers a wide selection. Not the cheapest place in town but one pays for quality and the atmosphere. Calm peaceful place perfect to get out of the rat race for a while; to sit & chat with friends or just relax. Staff are helpful and friendly and the seating quite spacious.

It was good to serve Hot towel so as to clean hands. Looks very well maintained inerior and history. I was supprised that they don't have WiFi in mobile world.

A Japanese kissaten and Nishimura's flagship store. Coffee mont blanc is a perfect dessert for summer. The coffee jelly is sherbet like and soft whilst the icecream is so creamy and rich. Loved the how flaky the ice was as well. The melon juice was fresh.

One of the best place for coffee lovers in Japan. Visitors do visit and try Nishimura coffee while your are in Japan. Highly recommend. They have rich history about coffee beans.

One of the best coffee shops I've been to. The coffee was delicious and so was the cakes we had. There were not many seats and all full when we arrived, but soon we got seated and enjoyed our food and drinks. The collection of cakes is abundant (per the menu says), but we arrived late of the day so left us only about half of cakes available. I still like the fruit cake I ordered though. We also bought several different flavors of drip coffee bags. I haven't tasted them all, but so far so good.

Decent place for nice coffee. Pie was good, not too sweet. Do check out the history behind this place as well. 😀

The atmosphere reminds me of Italian cafés. A little on the pricey side but it worth trying. The cake was delicious.

Their marron (chestnut) parfait is brilliant, and it’s my favourite! This headquarters building which is like a medieval European building is definitely one of the Kobe’s icons. It’s just a cup of coffee, but it’s the cup of coffee which knows a half of this city’s history.

Stopped in for afternoon coffee & it was delicious and a cute atmosphere. We also bought coffee beans to take with us and there were many options to choose from.

Unique looking coffee cafe. It is very popular so sometimes there can be a wait. I'm not much of a coffee drinker so the coffee to me taste like any other coffee, but coffee lovers claim it is very good coffee. The menu is delicious, the food is presented the way it looks in the menus photo which is a rear thing.

👍👍 When in Rome do as the Romans do. When in Kobe, eat as much beef as humanly possible. I already absolutely love beef dons, so this one just felt like that but even more boujee. I loved the style of this restaurant. It was small, intimate, and predominantly counter seating. The vending machine out f...
