I ordered espresso and iced americano, both of them are great. They offered variety choice of coffee bean blends. Location is good, it offers nice rose garden view by the river.

I tried their iced latte and croissant and they were perfect! The baristas really know their coffee and their passion shows. You can also enjoy a beautiful view of the water out back or enjoy the greenery vibes indoors.

I really enjoyed my coffee. The Brazilian blend isn't too strong, which was perfect for my tastes. The choc chip cookie was also yum. The store is nice and the outdoor seating area is a great spot to relax. The gentlemen working on the day I visited were friendly and cool 😎 thank you!

I drink straight espresso, so it's hard to find good, rich, properly made espresso in Japan - but getting easier all the time. This trendy Cafe offers exactly that - with industrial style decor and a high end flower shop sharing the space. The pastry and sandwich selection is present, but don't expect a case full - good stuff, but not much of it. The view from the patio is of the river and Osaka's beautiful Public Hall. At Christmas time you can sit outside and watch the spectacular 3D imaging show that is projected on the Public Hall at night. The cafe has restrooms, but they are in the building attached - and up the stairs. English is spoken - a bit - enough to order.

The fragrant coffee and the atmosphere inside the store were a perfect match, and when I stepped out on the terrace, there was a different sense of freshness.

I found it while looking for a cafe with a nice atmosphere on the riverside 😌 It was cold so I couldn't go out on the terrace, but the view was great and the interior space was very pretty. The coffee was delicious too

The coffee was very delicious, the caramel crumble was delicious, and the scenery was very pretty and nice.

Nice atmosphere both indoor or outdoor seat. Enjoy your drinks and admire the river view in front of you.

I got iced latte (left), friend got maple shay shay(right). It was a little crowded on a weekday afternoon. For latte, can choose between Guatemala or Japan blend. It’s a good cafe, the baristas are nice and can speak English. Well decorated interior. Balcony access gives a nice view of the river and Nakanoshima park. Complimentary wifi, restroom, and water dispenser.

Really great seats outside over the river. Quite spacious too. Very peaceful views. Coffee and food is standard for a cafe The only cafe in the area open before 11. Opens at 8 Lots of seats. Six 4-person tables outside, plus a border of 30ish seats directly overlooking the river. Some more seating inside Some power outlets inside. Only one outlet outside, in the corner Wifi is okay. It doesn't reach to a lot of the outdoor seating Gets crowded around 11 Even when not crowded, there's often a line to order It is peaceful but not completely quiet. There's still noticeable noise from the highway

Today's drip coffee is Ethiopia. So nice sour taste and the river views is excellent. The staffs are sincerely, design is so nice. Recommend morning time because so crowded in cafetime.

Trying Signature Maple Shay Shay today, good coffee, love the vibes and atmosphere here, recommended to visit and relax !

  • 5/5 Leong Chee F. 4 months ago on Google
This riverside coffee shop is a hidden treasure! With ever-changing coffee beans, each visit is a new flavor adventure. The cold breeze by the river adds to the charm. Must-try: the heavenly doughnuts and cinnamon rolls that perfectly complement the unique Maple Shay Shay. Five stars for an unforgettable experience!

One of the best coffee places on Osaka. What makes it better is you get to enjoy a view along the riverbank. Coffee is elite and there are a multitude of options to choose from including the Red Eye, Maple Shay Shay and various other coffee selections with both warm/cold options available. Highly recommend the cinnamon scroll but honestly, anything you pick here has the midas touch. It's gold!

It was beyond my expectations of a popular, fancy, franchise coffee store. I went here in the morning 9’o clock, by that time, the store wasn’t occupied of people so you can choose freely whereas you want to dine. Of course, I chose outdoor so I can have a compete view of the beautiful river and sip my coffee. I ordered the seasonal coffee, hojicha latte, it was so so so perfect I’d rate a 9.9/10. Love the profess way the barista pulled out and the staff was friendly and patient! I also picked carrot cake, it tasted light and balanced. It went well with the coffee. I had a pleasant morning here 🤎

Cozy cafe by the river. The inside space is a little smaller than I expected but atmosphere is chill with some fun music. There’s also an outside terrace which is really nice overlooking the water. They had different coffee bean choices and a selection of pastries. Their latte was smooth and delicious 😊 One of the seating areas has a few outlets which is convenient for working/studying.

Best Sugoi Awesome! The coffee is so great and the view makes you feel calm.

Such fine coffee! Had a cortado with cinnamon roll for dine in! And then a Japan blend batch brew to go on the way to visit the Osaka Castle. Got reminded of the long Mac topped up (a Perth speciality?!) from Australia. Friendly staffs! Single barista and the wait time isn't really that long (feel like less than 4mins!) The view along the river is a lovely addition as well!

I ordered their latte, maple shay shay (latte with maple syrup) and a “very berry cake”. The coffee was decent (I expected it to taste stronger) and the cake was delicious. You can have a nice view of the river in the outdoor area or enjoy your coffee while sitting in one of their couches. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a small but cozy coffee shop to unwind.

The rainy riverside scenery with a warm cafe latte was a work of art.

Nice new location that is a little bigger than the previous one. Same nice atmosphere and a much bigger terrace to enjoy when the weather is good. Delicious coffee and sweets and friendly staff. Great place to relax.

  • 4/5 Jennifer K. 4 years ago on Google
A warm and cozy cafe with genuinely good coffee made by experienced barristers. I’d say the best coffee I have had in Japan overall. Real mugs rather than paper cups would have been even better. Food choices are a little limited. Lovely atmosphere and just a nice place to lounge around. Good background music - not too loud - just right. I want to go back❣️4.5⭐️

The staff was great in communicating in English wth us so our ordering wss a breeze! I ordered the Maple Shay Shay which was on the sweet side but definitely a tasty drink. Inside the coffee shop is cozy and has a great vibe. The outdoor patio overlooks the water Tosahori River. It was a beautiful sight of rhe scity skyline and even more gorgeous for the sunset views! Highly recommend.

I ordered dark roasted ice latte. It’s so perfect! Sipping coffee while looking at the river’s view was so relaxing. Recommended!

Nice coffee and nice staff. They have outdoor seating right by the river (not the nicest view per say, but the seating area is nice). I got a latte and my partner got tea (he doesn't drink coffee). They had two types of espresso to choose from for the latte, and several different types of hot tea to choose from. The prices are also way less expensive than some of the other trendy coffee shops I've been to in Osaka (and the attitude way less pretentious in my opinion).

Very cool place by the water to relax and enjoy a drink and snacks. Tried the new punchy espressoda and the combo of an espresso and ginger beer is new to me; very unique and addicting.

Easily one of the best coffee spots in Osaka. Chilling on the outdoor patio overlooking the river is so relaxing and calming and the coffee here is excellent!

Good selection of unique coffee. Very small place but cosy. Outside seating area is quite pleasant, especially during Christmas.

  • 5/5 Jaimin Y. 1 year ago on Google
Excellent drip coffee (what is on offer changes daily, I believe), but the pastries were just okay (I had a croissant and a canelle, neither of which were remarkable). The real winner is the spectacular view and ambience you have from sitting outside riverside. Be sure to wave back at the people riding by on the boat tour. :)

A very special place to sit, read and enjoy some of the best coffee Japan has to offer. As we are from Melbourne, standards are high for coffee expectations. The drip coffee is delicious, as was the maple shay shay. To top it off, the cinnamon scroll toasted up in the toaster was incredible. Flaky, creamy, devine. The staff are obviously passionate about coffee and bring that passion to life through their careful coffee construction. The atmosphere is relaxing, with a little florist shop also being inside so the place smells lovely of coffee and flowers. Cannot recommend highly enough, especially if you are in need of a good quality coffee.

Beautiful venue with plants and natural light everywhere , I ordered a vegetable and egg sandwich, matcha latte and a slice of NY cheesecake which were all amazingly tasty. There’s also an outdoor area that is right in the water which makes an epically beautiful and peaceful experience. I would highly recommend to come here

All in all good, especially if you are looking for nice coffee at a good price. Atmosphere is really nice and personell are skilled and friendly. Music is also really nice. On the negative side, I expect to get my coffee in a real coffee cup or mug instead of one-time use paper cups when sitting there, regardless of what I order. I'm not sure for what drinks but I get paper cups about half the time I go there. Also, for some reason I cannot combine my discount cards, despite them telling me so at a previous time (when I got another one since I forgot my first one). But maybe one of the staff was just misinformed.

Good enough coffee, although the beans are pretty overpriced. The interior decors remind us of Brooklyn and my kid, who was born there, loves to spend Sunday mornings here.

Large outdoor patio seating overlooking the river. Unique indoor environment. Oatmilk cappuccino was decent. Pumpkin bread was quite good.

  • 5/5 Nicholas La R. 1 year ago on Google
They don't do pourover but as a pretty big company they have some nice beans and they make oat milk lattes and such. The best part is the "this is a NYC cafe" vibe that their Osaka Kitahama location exclusively has.

  • 4/5 S C. 6 years ago on Google
We stopped by here in the morning because it’s one of the few cafe spots in the area. It’s spacious and quiet in the morning. There is a small flower shop that’s connected, but it wasn’t open when we were there. The coffee was good. The baked goods were just okay. You get a nice view of the water and they have waterfront seating on their patio for nice days.

👍👍 Go to the basement floor which has all kinds of food stalls and specialty stores. Go there an hour before closing and most of the packaged food items will be discounted like 30% or Y300 off. It’s great deal for budget travel. They also have very good yogurt drinks and other bakery items.

👍👍 Had to wait ~15 min to enter at 10am on a Friday. The beef curry rice was ok. The pancake was nothing special, borderline disappointing. The cafe au lait was decent though. The star of the show was the french toast. It has this melt in your mouth sensation which was quite unique. Felt like eating...
