2022.12. -Very close to the main station on foot -Vibes is like a not typical japanese inn but sophisticated and modern -just built in 2021 so very clean and comfy -check in procedure is so quick via check-in machine Extra towels,mobile charger, multiple adapters,nail clippers,and extra blankets are provided if you want -rooms are so spacious -big bath tub is on 2nd floor it's so good

This hotel is only a minute or two away from JR Takayama Station and Nouhi Bus Terminal, making it a great spot for those taking public transportation. The facilities are modern, simple and clean. The hot bath located on the second floor gave much-needed relief for our tired legs after long hours of walking in Kamikochi, Nagano. It was also a great idea to have luggage storage space on the first floor, which guests can use for free even after checking out. New and stylish electric-assist bicycles (they come with smartphone holders for navigation) are available for rental.

Visited Takayama in March 2022. The hotel is conveniently located at walking distance from sightseeing spots. Staff is friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome. Rooms and facilities are very comfortable and cosy, and everything in the room is curated with a lot of attention to detail to make you feel relaxed. A fantastic breakfast (Japanese or Western style to choose from) is included in the price. I have no negative points to report, all in all it is great value for the money. I would most certainly pick this hotel again for my next stay.

Disappointing japanese hospitality! No real omotenashi but rather the goal to get as much money as possible out of your pocket. Organisation is very complicated, you need to show tickets all the time for no reason and they charged for the family bath, which is very uncommon in Japan, without announcing it. It leaves a bitter taste! And the food is not really good...

This is a great hotel! Rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Facilities like the onsen was clean and modern. The hotel is located just next to the main bus terminal which makes it super convenient. The hotel is also walking distance from the market / old town area. The service is great as well, with an automated check out system. This is the best hotel and most value for money hotel I've stayed in in Japan so far.

Best Hotel during 4 week trip in Japan! Great location, really nice way of sharing all info about the best spots in Takayama. Go out on rented bicycle or enjoy the (private) onsen!

Brand new hotel which is quite close to Takayama old city provides the complete amenities for all guests.

Excellent location right by the station. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in a couple of hotels during the takayama festival (this and another which was a 4* hotel) and this was far better. Definitely recommend despite the western breakfast not being to my taste (although I've found generally on Japan it's not quite the English breakfast in used to)

The hotel was very clean and welcoming, great location, close to the station; it also had hot springs. The staff was very cordial; they also booked a restaurant for us. I accidentally left there my airpods in the room and they contacted me the day after I left and shipped it back to me. Would highly recommend!

Great hotel and service and I would recommend over others we used in Takayama for the festival Inc a 4 star. But the breakfast wasn’t great for a western version and the bed was uncomfortable (too hard!). We used the onsen and bike service - both great!!

It's our second time coming to takayama, but this hotel around is our first time. From the hotel, it's just a 10-minute walk from the old town and the Miyagawa morning market. There is a private hot spring inside the hotel. You can inquire with the staff. In addition, the hotel also has a guide to introduce 100 attractions in Takayama that are interesting as well.

The room is clean but small for the standard room, air conditioner seems not being clean for long time, when we open it, the smell was terrible, but they do have air purifier so we decided to close the air conditioner and only open air purifier, which much better. The staff were friendly, hotel locate just 3-4 mins from bus station, there are Family Mart close by, around 10 mins to Takayama furuimachinami, the first floor of the hotel has provided locker room, smoking room, laundry room, coin machines, microwave, a small shop for souvenir, and a restaurant. There are also introduction of local stores on the first floor wall, you can pick it up the card and visit the place, which I found it quite helpful and meaningful. Over all we have a good experience here.

great value with a good location and clean room and the facilities are new. onsen is nice too. Only 1 night is not enough to enjoy there. Hope can stay in this hotel again. Good restaurant is just nearly.
