An amazing menu! Very quaint, with a fantastic coffee and pastry menu. The barista spoke great English and was very accommodating! Please make some time to come visit this coffee house!

I was so happy to find this amazing coffee shop in Takayama. It has a relaxing atmosphere. The store is spacious, bright and creative. I had a latte and it was outstanding. The owner Hiroki was super friendly and humble. Extremely organized and clean! Really enjoyed his conversation and his warm hospitality. Highly recommend!

Comforting cup of long black with the right bitterness for me which paired perfectly with the almond croissant. The modern cafe blended neatly with the traditional Japanese heritage building. Finally, the experience would not be amazing if it’s not for the friendly!

Super friendly owner who makes really good coffee! The cappuccino was very smooth and the affogato had a great pairing; fruity blend mixed with the creamy vanilla ice cream. The shop is cozy and great for a break near the Takayama old street!

Perfect coffeeshop with great coffee, tasty fresh pastries and excellent service. There is also a nice stove to warm up during winter. We were there several times while we were in town.

Really good coffee and owner/barista is really friendly and speaks English really well which made it easy. They accept credit card/ cashless payment. They serve a variety of pour overs with beans from weekenders roasters in Kyoto (really well balanced and brewed well) and a variety of espresso based drinks (oat and soy milk available too) using a La Marzocco machine for optimal extraction.

Really friendly service from English speaking barista ☺️ Easily the nicest coffee we’ve had in Japan! The almond croissant, cinnamon bun, and sourdough toast (not pictured as we were too eager to start) were to die for! 💗

Cosy place with decent coffee. The inheritor retains features of a wooden house while incorporating elements of industrial style. The flat white, which uses dark roasted blend, is bold and silky. The balance between bitter and sweet tends to lean towards the former. Personally, I would prefer medium dark roast beans that comes with other notes for a more palatable experience. For the pastries, they are okay. The muffin is moist, and the layer of cream cheese balance out the different layers- crumble, dough and blueberry. The carrot cake is moist, with the spice profiles nicely exuding themselves as you dig into the cake. The croissant could be more flakey. While the centre fruit jam adds a nice touch to the bake, it became a little chewy and stuck to the teeth after a few bites. Overall, a nice place to get your coffee fix.

Our best coffee and muffin to date in Japan 😊, plus we appreciated the really warm welcome from the staff who were great at sharing local tips. We went back again the following day. Highly recommended.

Absolutely good coffee served here. Barista was friendly and fluent in English. Latte art exceptional. Ordered the tiramisu and the flavours are balanced and not overpowering. Overall a good place in the historic old town area.

Falo coffee was a wonderful surprise. Found it on a tourist map and made a bee line for it. The coffee was just as i like it, delicious, strong (as i asked for) and full of flavour. We had great coffee in Tokyo ,Kyoto and Osaka but this was the best so far. The kids enjoyed their pastries we were just disappointed the granola was sold out😊 The proprietor was lovely. Friendly, warm and inquisitive and spoke fluent english. All round, a great experience.

Speciality coffee in the Takayama. Seated in a renovated old private house more than 100 years old, Falò Coffee Brewers is a great spot for coffee after a long train ride from Nagoya. Using single-origin beans like Ethiopia Worka, KENYA Kamwangi, and RWANDA Mbilima, the pour-over (JPY550) has a more fruity note.

We visited every day from Day one when we found it. Barista coffee - perfectly made with a cool vibe to the cafe and a friendly English-speaking owner. What more could you ask? Loved it!!

👍 While I was staying at the hotel, I couldn't go out to eat dinner, so I asked him to buy me a (large) rib bowl. The meat was very soft, there was a lot of it, and it was delicious without any habit. 😋 It's the first time I ate it. In the children's (adult) room, it seems that the beef bowl was del...
