A short walk from the station, it is a convenient location and a very reasonable price. It is a nice place to relax after a long day of walking around. I would like to come back

Great location! Being located right next to the Takayama station it's a very short & accessible walk. It's very clean, with excellent service. One additional bonus is that it provides free fast wifi.

The grandpa in the cafe is very nice, and he knows a lot of English. We had 2 cups of coffee, 1 hojicha and 2 sets of mochi. It a good place for tourist to stop by (especially when it is raining outside). This tiny cafe is on the first floor of a hotel, They have wooden stairs to go up only, no elevator, but you can put your luggage on the ground floor and walk up stairs for a short break.

Everything is so nice and every detail of this cafe is so well designed. The drink and dessert are perfect. The sweetness of the Wakashi and the texture of the strawberry inside the Wakashi is very well balanced. The atmosphere is just so relaxing, can just order a cup of coffee and chill. Here provides English/Chinese menu as well, so no need to worry if can’t speak Japanese. Huge recommendation!!

Be aware this cafe offers customers a free icecream in return for writing a review - hence we felt the reviews are a bit biased! The coffee was quite average and was not made using an espresso machine. It also came in a disposable cup with lid even though we were dining in. A bit disappointing. The space is lovely though and the mochi were tasty though quite expensive.

Comfortable cafe located at the first floor of Residence Hotel Takayama. Excellent place for coffee and relaxing after whole day of walking in the town. Signature drink is definitely the Matcha Latte.
