Lovely private dining experience in the outskirts of takayama. Met the friendliest chefs ever, who took such great care of us. Our main sushi chef even took the effort to make sure that our food was prepared perfectly. What surprisingly blew our minds were how tasty the ikura was, how soft/tasty the egg omelette was, and how juicy/tender the kaarage was. Do give this shop a try if you're in the area, and you're sure to leave this place happier!

Great food and atmosphere. The Chef is extremely hospitable and provides advice on what to eat and will likely jump into conversation with you - this and the sushi quality makes the experience 5 Star. The place was hard to find, its on the second floor of the building, acessed by side stairs on the outside. You can park just opposite the place in the evening if quite.

The chef served us so good and the omakase sushi was also great. Loved the atmosphere and nama beer is the must-ordered drink!! Definitely recommended place when you visit Okuhida onsen area.

The best sashimi I have ever had. Prepared right if front of us. The owner wanted to interact with us despite my very bad Japanese and him learning English. A great night.
