Our first day in Takayama, and we’re SO HAPPY to discover this cosy cafe by chance. The setting is WONDERFUL n food DELICIOUS. The owner is a very nice young man who made us feel at home. What made it even more special for me were the touches of cat related displays. THANK U Cha-mame Cafe.🐈‍⬛🐈😻😻😻 Update: Came back again twice today — lunch n tea break — because this is where I feel totally relaxed n comfortable n love the food. Leaving for Niigata tomorrow, but Cha-mame Cafe will be what I’ll remember of my visit to Takayama as much as the city’s attractions.
