A quiet little Starbucks located right outside a major supermarket. This place is fantastic to visit during a rainy day. The ambience is warm and contemporary, and the service staff speak passable english so communication shouldn't be a problem for those unable to speak Japanese. Coffee is better that standard fare, though not the best, but the seats are comfy, with full lengths glass windows for one to gaze through while contemplating with a warm cuppa in hand.

Just like any Starbucks but it sells (at least for now) the highly coveted Jimoto mug here (made if wood). This seems to be a modern looking building too. Lots of seating and staff is very helpful here.

As an Australian - we have great coffee shops - I'm never sure how Starbucks makes such weak coffee. Clean, polite staff, nice biscuits .

Grateful that Takayama has a Starbucks so I was able to get the Gifu stamp on my passport. ☕️ Slightly accessible from the station so it’s not bad to visit after a long day of strolling around town. 🤓

Big place with plenty of seats. The problem is that they have a drive through, so those orders have priority. Even if it’s not busy, it takes about 10 minutes after ordering to receive yours.

I have to confess that I'm not a big fan of this chain but this Shop is really nice. It's located at the back of the train station. That means, there are not so many tourists here. If you have to wait for your train, it's a perfect place.

its a pretty starbucks! the drink i wanted was out of stock but the food i ordered was good, your standard starbucks fare.

Really understaffed. Was the second person in right at 8 a.m., finally got my simple coffee order at 8:20. The staff is handling drive thru orders on headsets while doing other tasks ... must be awful

Very friendly and helpful staff! They were so nice and gave us information about the coffee and even products. They have special Takayama wooden mugs that are only available at this location. And the drinks were of course delicious!

Baristas were very friendly, some spoke English!🥰

It a nice escape. But sadly there signature cup for this store had long ran out.

Modern decor, comfortable seating, high ceilings, big windows. Good coffee.
